Everyone does realise it’s a two month old build right?
A lot of the issues will already be fixed by now if not by release.
Sorry but that's damage control nonsense, there's no way they would leave a build sat there for months in that state and not merge as many bug fixes into it as possible. Yes betas are for load testing and such, but they also throw a lot of marketing budget at the game around the time of the beta, there's no way they would put such a shoddy build out if they had something significantly better.
Regardless of bugs, I really didn't enjoy it. The player count has doubled yet the map is so full of empty space that it feels like there are fewer players somehow. Objectives are just a small cluster of basic buildings with little cover, the movement speed is absurd (someone clocked sprinting at around 22mph). Team work is nonexistent, tons and tons of features have been removed (back proning, squad spawn cam, leaning around corners, vehicle entry animations, blast knockback, etc) and the whole game is just about random chaos.
I didn't really play BFV as I didn't enjoy it when I tried it shortly after launch, but I gave it a try yesterday and it's night and day. Despite not being a huge fan of the WW2 setting, you play it and it instantly feels like a Battlefield game, you're sticking close to your squad, helping each other out, forming battle lines, trying to force the enemy back. 2042 feels like an attempt to compete with CoD.
