Yeah, but wasn't that due to there being serious bother outside the stadium before the game ?

Yeah i think it kicked off with police during it as well

Depending on if you need to collect the tickets or not (can’t see them doing that) I think if we get a 5k allocation there will be lots of empty seats :/
Even if many would credit hunt they should be able to sell many on to people traveling without ticket if they cant get a hand on one themselves.

tickets have to lifted or credit is taken off and still charged for ticket

If the 5k is correct then any collection in Rome criteria (if used) should be applied to those with zero credits to discourage credit hunting.

The away section holds up to 5.8k. I think they gave us almost that in 2001.
Take some off for segregation, police and a gap and 5k sounds right.

I don't think the away end dividers can be moved. I think they are fixed perspex walls. So they can't just sell more to their home support anyway. As long as it can be policed, it doesn't make much difference to Roma.

Chelsea had 3.9k but they may have only requested that many.

They aren't obliged to give us more than about 3800. We will be playing for the right to participate in the biggest club game in the World. They haven't been this far since 1984, they will be desperate for revenge for 1984, demand from their own fans will be huge. Why anyone thinks they will give us more than they have to, I do not know....

Don’t think  anyone’s tryed to exchange to be honest, stand down.

This 80 Euro figure is outrageous. Hopefully they see sense and a) subsidise b) drop the collections and c) sting them at anfield too.

That’s more than the cheapest final ticket

3 of us flying out there without a ticket at the moment. Been to Rome before and it's a beautiful city so couldn't resist booking flights. Managed to get in-direct flights via Germany for about 180£ each.

Hopefully there is a meet up somewhere... Don't think Chelsea had any problems earlier in the season.

Think its yet to be seen whether they pay the same in their stadium as I've heard home prices are much less. We wouldn't charge anyone that much of course, United had the right idea with Seville, but they also helped their own fans out.

Just had a look on the Roma site.   For non members prices start at 65 euros for the central part of the ends, 85 euros for the end corners like we get and over 100 euros on the sides.

Should do if those with the aways are guaranteed.....why should a season ticket holder that has been to no games get first dibs?

I'm hoping so as 10am before the Stoke game is a bit of a stretch to get there.

Home games do not come into it as this is an away match.

It's an old argument I know but they are in effect using home games as they're using STHs which is league homes. At least using CL homes means people have definitely been to games in the competition it's for. It's the only time we ever use cross-competition loyalty so I can see why members get frustrated.

I imagine there will be a good few buying for loyalty/final place and not going.
