Finally caught up with this.

I've been watching a couple of shows a night for weeks. It's pretty much the only thing me and the missus will watch together. I think it's great, I mean sure there are parts where you think "why do that or why not" but it's really entertaining. I like negan but I'm looking forward to when it all comes to a head, hope it doesn't drag on like the guvnor

I've called it a day. Struggled through last season, saw the 1st of this one and that's enough for me.

good return, and had all the key aspects of a good TWD episode: multiple characters, lots of rick/morgan/carol and very little zombie action (apart from played for laughs).

Loved the bit when they drove the cars with the wires inbetween them cutting down the walkers.

Only bit I didn't like was Rick and Michonne get surround by walkers and manage to push them off and get in the cars. Normally when that happens you would get bitten. Minor moan really.

Yeah that was odd in an otherwise well done setpeice.

Good opener, a nice mystery to start, good cliffhanger to end episode, Gregory and Ezekiel always make things better, enjoyed the interactions between the groups and so on.

Nice watch yesterday as it had a bit of everything and basically all the camps were involved.

jediwarrior, you're spot on. Time and time again when that happened in the past was game over for the character. Better not show it at all imo than having a near escape.

Enjoyed that. The wires between the cars thing was absolutely brilliant and the kind of ludicrous fun the show should try and do more of. Less of the super serious, minor character POV episodes and more of that please.

Anyway, pretty excited for where it goes now but I'm sure my enthusiasm will be gone in 3 weeks after we've had three episodes learning more about Gregory, catching up with Heath and watching Dwight make sandwiches.

I didn't love last week's episode, but thought last night's was great. It's setting up nicely.

Gabriel's character development has been good to see considering it's not generally one of the show's strong points. Seth Gilliam is a good actor.

Really enjoying the show.  Past 2 episodes have been good viewing!

Tho, I have to say, that character with the stick, Morgan Jones, he's starting to bug the life out of me.  He is constantly on screen staring into oblivion with his deep emotional attitude.  Its getting boring now.  Don't care what he's been through, living in a world populated with zombies, everyday fighting for survival, It would really toughen someone up mentally.  He walks about like a fart in trance bemoaning any suggestion of fighting every time.  Fighting is vital for your own survival within that setting/life, this should have already been drilled into him after so many seasons.  Grab your nuts and get stuck in!

But hey ho, really enjoying it and glad its back! :)

I would have thought the opposite. Shaking with the left hand can be referred to as a scout handshake which is seen as a token of friendship, trust etc.
I know it was forced as a result of Rick's injury but I'd imagine it wasn't put in just for the fun of it
