What is it with the psychology affecting people? Just back from the local sainsburys and went to the lottery/cig counter to get my cancer sticks for tonight. Usually there's a few people in the queue. Tonight there were about 30 in the queue all doing this Euro lottery.
Is it the case that people turn their noses up at an ordinary jackpot of about £6m? But because it's double/triple/quadruple rollover or whatever every man and his dog decide to participate.
Even though, statistically, your odds of succeeding are much higher when it's an 'ordinary' jackpot of about £6m.
And yes, as I spent half hour in the queue, I decided to spend a few quid on it as well.
Strange though how most of those don't bother with it when it's 'only' £6m.
