Check your privacy settings on this, as peoples pages are soon going to be directly linked to google searches.

Personally I use it to get in touch with one or two people (mates from school who I'd lost contact with, mostly), most of which is now done through email or MSN anyway. It's an incredibly 'dangerous' site, about to get more-so, hence why I don't bother with any pictures, statuses or joining any groups/applications.

People will only be able to see your name and your profile pic if they search for you on Google though, nothing else.

Finally got hooked on this recently.

A lot of the applications are pish but it has put me back in touch with a few people I really wanted to reconnect with so that's good.

Plus I got to put my picture of Me and Rushie on my profile

So, where are the RAWKites?

I've got some of the apps but going to remove some as they're getting annoying. Funnily enough I like ilike. Also cities I've visited is pretty good for keeping track.

Only got onto facebook recently and have used it to track down some people from Primary School. They've obviously already had that idea as they had a reunion a couple of months back and are having another in November. That'll be interesting...
