Watching a man get hit by a bus, who then gets up and goes straight into the pub.

He should do the lottery this week.

That bus is already out of control before it hits him.

Went to the park with my friend in Zagreb.  She climbed a cherry tree and stripped as many branches she could reach.  Then we lay in a hammock for about three hours eating cherries as she drew in my doodle pad (no that's not a euphemism!).  All the while her dog raced around going mental at the crows.

Best cherries I ever tasted.  Arguably the best three hours of my entire life.

Remembering that you put some beers in the fridge the previous night that will be perfectly chilled when you get home.
Forgetting that you've done it and then opening the fridge couple of days later and seeing them there perfect temp.

I've got a feeling that Origi is the real deal, from a couple of games I watched but mainly his interviews there seems to be something about him.

I made (then deleted) a post in the "annoy you" thread a couple weeks ago regarding an open position at a company I was well qualified for that would be a game changer in my life that disappeared off the site. I was so frustrated, working two jobs to not even make ends meet, and this rare opportunity was gone.

I found out a week later It was gone because they already had enough applicants. After two interviews, a background check, and waiting on pins in needles, I learned today I start there in two weeks!

I was cycling by Nebo in North Wales, by Snowdon yesterday and saw this flying pretty low....300 foot up, I'd guess.

Going to a parts shop for a clutch kit and getting quoted £100. Then going to another parts shop specialising in clutches who did it for £35. Asked the guy why such a big price difference and he said "they would probably have got it off us." Feels like I've beaten the system.

Looked out the window yesterday and saw a Huey flying past - love those. Went on Amazon and found a 1:24 scale Revell kit, so ordered it. Haven't built a helicopter kit for years.

We had artificial grass laid in spring. Had to go to the shed this morning, walked across is barefoot and it was warm - that made me smile.

I got taken into the control tower while an airshow was on and got to listen to the pilots chatting the ATC.

My eldest son was 3 when he got to sit in the pilots seat of a Lynx, when the Dad of one of my nephews mates (very high up in the Navy) borrowed one and turned up at a passing out parade at Welbeck in it.

I love seeing things like that too. Takes me back to a time when I was a teen getting absolutely baked and taking in lovingly carved and painted stuff in woodlands, Led Zep in my ears and just feeling a sort of deep dreamy magical connection to the nature peculiar to these isles, like it was Middle Earth. I still feel that fantasy in my heart, just not as keenly as I did back then.

When you're in a place like that, with the light of the morning/dusk all around you, there's defo a spiritual connection of some sort felt, even if it's just an illusion within your consciousness created by the power of culture and wishful thinking. The vibes of other nature-seeking humans who've spent time and worked on that, and left it there to let you experience something of who they are/were.

Nice, love the Mosquito.

Last 1/24th scale I had was a Spitfire when I was a kid, last kit I made was a 1/72 Spitfire a could of years back. Really looking forward to building this one.
