Jesus..I havent seen her with clothes on before.

 ;D

Thought you might appreciate her skills.

So these Adicolor jobs- you can get  a kit to produce your own customised look (  ::) ) or just get the predesigned NYC ones? Any idea how much they go for?

Depends on the edition.
There are ones which are just plain, and the tounge has a 'velcro' patch where you can swap the logos around. Other ones have changable stripes on the side(i own these) and other pairs come with 12 different lace colours.
They are all around £55

Grand Slam | OKI-NI / ADIDAS

The Grand Slam was first introduced in 1981, to meet the growing needs of professional tennis players. Utilising an advanced cushioning system at the time, athletes were able to adjust the heel density through three exchangeable heel pegs. Now Adidas has exclusively re-created them in four new colour ways of calvi, light pink, hydra and Argentina blue especially for oki-ni. The distinctive perforated full grain leather upper provides excellent support whilst allowing breathability. The removable heel pegs are embossed with the signature trefoil on the outside side along with dual branding on the insole and shoe tongue. The rubber outsole provides excellent grip combined with a rotation disc on the ball of the foot relieving excessive pressure on the knees.

My Collection
This Collection has been assembled over a few years so not all are 'fresh'

Adidas Forest Hills- Mine have adidas pin trefoils at the bottom of the laces

K Swiss Classic- Mine have custom laces, bought from the adidas originals shop in manchester that look really good on them!

Adidas Stan Smith Gold

Adidas Melbourne- Pretty rare trainers, Got them in USC a few years back, still in pretty nice nick though

Adidas Adi Racer- Love These! essentially to replace my pretty worn out tuscanies

Adidas Tuscany GT

Reebok Vanta- The first pair of 'classic' style trainers i got, really good trabs

Functional traineys

Adidas Predator Pulse A3 White/Blue

Adidas Predator Pulsion

Yesterday I bought a new pair of Adidas Grand Slam, size ten. Brand new. However, the box and tags have been lashed out. They haven't been worn, certainly haven't left the house, and have six replacement pegs for the heel.

Want £35 which includes delivery.

Anyone?

(reason for sale - just spotted ANOTHER pair on my Adidas hit list on eBay)

Well in

A good pair of trainers are timeless mate... and Tuscanys are good.

Defo the most comfortable pair I have had in years. Also, the Goodyear sole means I can run round corners at 50MPH and not lose any traction :D

would have to agree with that, them goodyear ones look dead tacky. love the old adidas classics though, much better than the newer gear they churn out ( our european away strip being a case in point )

Sorry, I just don't get the K-swiss thing at all, they always remind me of market shoes for some reason, no offence.  When have they been really popular? And when they were I must have missed it.

They just arent nice. The only K-Swiss worth having are the all white classics and the white with black tounge tounge twiser.

They were popular from late 2004 and continue to be popular today, although their product range is looking a bit dodgy these days

My adidas trainer collection:
Italia (totally knackered tho they do for workin in ;))
Grand Slam (Red, ok condition had em a while now)
Decade (Brown & Blue, again good condition for age)
ZX 500 (Black & White)
New York (Blue, stricly for the gym)
Carlo Gruber (White)

Not been able to buy any for a while now (long overdue!) but really fancy the Beckenbauers (white) or Pistol's (blue).
