Most people in this world are tits. The fact they have an allegiance with Liverpool Football Club doesn't change that.

Way better than anything BOC have done, imho etc.

Shhhh! don't tell the BOC fans, you'll get lynched!

ROYGBIV, Olson and Dayvan Cowboy are amazing, but that's as far as it goes incomparison with Adrift from Tycho.

A desert island disc if ever there was one...

Amazing tune. Not necessarily an ambient cup of tea but check out 'My week beats your year' by TTA if you've not heard before... Another Desert Island disc for me.

I immediately thought of that scene in the Shining when I just played this... and strangely it's by 'The Caretaker' ... is that some sort of coincidence?

Thought I recognised that...Put to good use by Tom Middleton in slowing down Fabric's Global Communication mix. He follows it up and slows the whole thing gently to a standstill with this..........and relax!

That bass doesn't sound much on youtube, but play the cd through a decent system and your fixtures & fittings'll vibrate.

Caught this on a flick i watched last night called 'Waveriders' about surfing off the west coast of Ireland. A scene where they were riding massive rough waves was set to this. Was cool as fuck

Keeping with a Scandinavian theme (Norway this time). Soothing music to help forget about football for a while.

Ismistik - Absense. First track on the 1995 album "Remain".

Another one from the golden age of 1993. Track 3 from Global communication's "Pentamerous metamorphosis", a rework of the Chapterhouse album "Blood Music" (although the end result is so far removed from Blood Music that's it's really an original work of art in its own right).

...and relax

Beautiful. Now I just want to go back to sleep, not drive to work.

Saw Jon Hopkins at a festival recently and he was brilliant. Nothing like this though, more clanging techno

Makes you wonder what it's all aboot.

'Endless Summer', title track AND album = absolute masterpieces.

Music to listen to while staring out of the window on a rainy day.

Can we turn this into the official ambient-thread, since there isn't one? :)

I'll tell you one thing for sure... I wouldn't trust no words written down on no piece of paper, especially from no Dickenson out in the town of Machine.
