Utterly embarrassing from Swansea. We showed teams how to play against City and they go and sit back, waiting to be smashed.

Aye I know, still did though.

Usually I'd agree but in terms of teams going to Man City, I don't think we can really talk about right or wrong approaches. And in fairness the only team to do them there in the league completely rolled over in the first half and had their bellies tickled and should have been about 5 down, so maybe that's the smart league tactic

Not sure fans who think it's a disservice to us understand what exactly we do then. Generally speaking:

You can think our attack is the greatest seen in world football. You can think more realistically it's a collection of top attackers, set-up well. Or you can think these are good to very good players, deployed in the best positions in their careers.

All these things come later. Sure they'll make the difference between a 3 - 0 lead v 1 - 0 with weaker attackers or merely great chances missed, but the tactical choices come first. Swansea have access to players that are no slower than what we have, no less agile. That's all you need, coupled with workrate, to disrupt teams the way we disrupt. They've had a season's worth to examine the scenarios that happen when you let City, with their collection of the best attackers money can buy, walk it into the attacking third. At this point, choosing to sit back, when you are a Premiership side, showing no moments of sustained pressing, adequate risk management, is just foolishness on your part. There's no guessing about any of this anymore. Combine those tools.

As long as City can let others win the games for them, they'll find it easy again. You need to see more and more teams pull that cloak off.

Another joke will follow today. Probably something about the traffic being eased by the opening of a hard shoulder or something else as bizarre as that.

Doesn't matter if you have the pressing if you don't have the players to do it efficiently at the right time and to do it consistently. During pre-season our players are conditioned to play the way we do. Swanse are not.

Swansea can have teh fastest players on Earth but if they don't have the ability to do what is required, and have the ability to punish City than they can't set up like we can and execute like we can.

So no Swansea don't have access to the same players nor do they have the players currently who could bother City they way we did in 3 out of the 4 games we played them in.

Please someone teach Mancs how to say Campiones, I can't stand another season of them getting it wrong. I thought I hated Chelsea's "champions of England, we know what we are" the most until I heard these Mancs and their championes.

That looked very similar to the dive the Saints player got booked for in the semi-final earlier.
