Statement from Pop and Samie:
"We'd first of all like to congratulate XabiArt on a good game, even though his team won with zero shots on goal, and no own goals. We're pretty sure the refs were biased, especially when they started to call own goals against us every time it went out for a corner.
The lads are devo'd, especially Beckenbauer, who was throwing brown envelopes left, right and centre before the game. Next time he should probably put some money in them.
We'd love to be back here again next year, because we are alive, and we're here, and Xabi's team had no heritage, although they did have Real Ronaldo.
We wish all remaining teams the best of luck, except for Xabi's.
We'll now be going on tour doing after-dinner speeches, in a show called 'Pop and Samie - putting the Chuckle into Brothers since Clough and Taylor'. Tickets will be £260 per head. Duncan Norvelle will be doing sponsored chases.
