Only 3 teams in the league unbeaten in their last 5 games: Man City, Liverpool and Crystal Palace.

Roy Hodgson, football genius.

Watford are the biggest bottlers going.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

If Dyche makes wholesale changes in the FA Cup this season, it's taking the piss. There's absolutely no chance they're going down.

Maybe so, but it's very likely they'll be knocked out of the FA Cup in this round, so can focus entirely on the league. The schedule thins out towards the end of the season if they can survive this brutal period.
most of us thought Leicester would drop off after Christmas and look what happened. Whilst Burnley aren't going to win the league they could get top 4 with no Europe and no Cup run to distract them if they can stay mainly injury free.

They should be aiming for a minimum of 6th place though and qualifying for Europe which would be an incredible achievement
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Pulis to Stoke.

Clement will be sacked by Swansea and replaced by Hughes.

I hope Stoke go for someone who won't let them play turgid, shit on a stick football again.

There are a bunch of foreign managers who are available (like Laurent Blanc) they have a good squad that should be pushing for 8th-10th yet they are near the relegation spots.

Surely Hughes is toast now.

He's bought some absolute shite in the transfer windows. Chased Berahino for 6 or 7 transfer windows and doesn't play him. They just seem devoid of quality in all departments. Bar Butland perhaps.

Chairman is taking a big risk giving him another window.

Shaqiri, Ramadan, Jese, Choupo-Moting, plus they have the likes of Butland, Wimmer, Zouma, Allen & Fletcher on top of my head.

They should be doing way better than they are.

Stoke would never have Pulis back. They'd hang the Board first.

How about Red Ron?

I was very impressed by Wagner’s interview post match.

He’s very honest, doesn’t resort to scapegoating nor throwing his players under the bus. His team were very ineffectual tonight, and lacked fight and heart. But he didn’t crucify them, and spoke about the season as a whole. Stevie was correct to highlight the lack of aggression, but there’s little to be gained by adding negativity to a demonstrable inferiority complex by Terriers’ players.

He will do well, in particular if he’s given something other than the impossible task he has at Huddersfield.

Leicester scored goals, they had Vardy and Mahrez who were in great form. They had a midfielder who was dominating the midfield. Burnley have none of that. You can't finish in the top four, by scoring 17 in 17. They aren't getting top four.

Also Leicester kept grabbing points from being one or two goals down constantly at the start of the season, everyone was saying they couldn't sustain that and they didn't, they just stopped conceding  :-\

They kept scoring. Mahrez and Vardy.

Burnley have no one like that remotely.

Ya I agree, I just also meant that Vardy and Mahrez were scoring to have them win games 3-2 coming from 2-0 down and stuff at first, they were conceding 2 goals a game for a bit, everyone said their luck would run out and conceding would catch up with them. Then they started winning 1 and 2 nil all the time. Couldn't believe the amount of 1-0s they had in the second half of the season, seemed like every other game.

Burnley will run out of ideas and steam like they did last season and the best way to play them is drop off and let them attack you.

There is no pace in the side and for all the good regimented way his side lack of goals will catch up with you.

They've done remakably well given the schedule but they will finish 8th or 9th.

Wednesday's football

West Ham v Arsenal (20:00 GMT)

West Ham's only win in the past 19 competitive meetings came at the Emirates Stadium in August 2015 (D3, L15).

This will be an unprecedented 42nd consecutive Premier League matchday in which a team led by David Moyes has started in the relegation zone.

Arsenal have won just two of their eight top-flight away matches this season.
