Same game again without the defensive error.

Lads played well again, obviously.

De Gea saves them AGAIN.

May as well give the opposing team a goal kick instead of giving us a corner. Hopeless from them.

Ah well. Maribor next.

Thought we played well. That Can chance should result in a goal.

Pretty solid at the other end.

Mourinho came for his draw and got it.

In big games you may only get 2 big chances you got to take at least one of them. We have no one that I would put my house on to do that.

Pretty dull game if you ignore the Liverpool vs. United aspect. United rode their luck at times, but really we had to do better with our chances and half-chances. The shots and final balls were either too wild or too tame. No conviction!

We were by far the better team and deserved a win. That being said, we looked very good and if we had taken our chances we would have thrashed them. I think we're improving and we'll soon be back to our best.

We've also shown that United might have had a good start to the season, but as soon as they come up against a decent team they're lucky to get anything from the match.

Pretty crap and as usual a ref making "human errors" in their favour. Horrific subs, I know Salah was tired so fine but Coutinho as well, with no Mane all our biggest goal threats were off the pitch.

Another victory for anti-football. We were the better team, probably should have won, but that gives me hope at least. Not too disheartening, a defeat would have been crushing, but Christ I wish we'd won today.

Wasted that first half plodding around. We need to make earlier substitutions.

There was a Genuine lack of quality in that midfield it was frustrating to watch all 3 falling over themselves trying to get the ball under control or the first thought to go back. Fuck me.

Diabolical game management and killed the match with his substitutions.
His substitute won a string of corners and added some drive that had drifted away.

3 great chances. Matip, Salah and Can should have scored at least one between them. But we controlled the game, their midfield was standing on the toes of their defense and our defense did an excellent job the very few times it was tested.

Gomez was fucking superb

Wijnaldum was so good today. Just doesn't lose the ball or get knocked off it; makes such a difference to the team knowing that when you get the ball to him, it's going to keep moving forward with a red man on it.

Moan about their tactics all you want. Mourinho wanted a point and got it, nothing wrong about that, it’s won him titles. We played for a win but just lacked the cutting edge today.

What happened to Klopp being a brave manager? Whilst Wijnaldum and Can plod around we take off Coutinho, Salah and Firmino. And are then stunned that we don't score. We haven't scored a goal in the last 20 of a game all season and why is that? I'd guess that taking off your goal threats every single game contributes to that. Every single game it is the same thing. We make like for like changes except the guy coming on isn't as good as the one coming off.

As for the game, we were the better team but yet again couldn't finish our chances. Defended well today although there wasn't really much to defend.

The entire game comes down to that De Gea save.

Twats.

By far the better team and Ox showing exactly why we bought him in his brief cameo.

Gomez deserved that MotM aswell.

Gomez came of age today I thought really pleased he got noticed for that performance.

Fucking hell United are shite. 'Title contenders' and they can't attack us even with our defence, missing our best player this season.

Could have been worse, I think our subs killed the game. Taking off our two attacking players and bringing on Sturridge seemed a shame, because for times between minutes 60-75 we looked like all we needed was a striker with a killer instinct in the box, Sturridge on for anyone would have been fine alone, but to take off Coutinho and Salah was puzzling. Especially since United weren't attacking, so Wijnaldum and Can both being on wasn't needed.

De Gea makes another match-winning save against us, and we should have had a penalty (although it looked soft initially) - same old.

Joe Gomez was superb. I was wrong about worrying about him starting RB. Proper player he is.

I'm not talking about the players coming on being poor.  I'm talking about leaving on some utterly ineffectual players and taking off two potential game changers instead.

The drive had drifted away at least 10 minutes earlier, but heaven forbid we show some ambition.

More or less settled for the draw.
