He is some player.

Absolutely phenomenal player. He absolutely destroys team in the qualifying stages for the major events. He's notched 28 in his last 19 qualifiers  :o

Lewandowski has scored 15 goals in this qualifying campaign. England have scored 16.

:lmao

He's a god amongst men. Love him, best all round striker out there.

43 goals in 39 competitive games for Poland and Bayern so far in 2017. Best striker on the planet by a mile.

Surprised to see Wagner starting. I thought Muller would play through the middle in this one and Sane would start. LB is a bit of a weakness for Germany at the minute.

Germany are missing some seriois talent through injury, or lack of fitness. Werner, Weigl, Reus, Ozil, Neuer, Khadira, Goetze, Hector all unavailable.

Surprised to see Wagner starting. I thought Muller would play through the middle in this one and Sane would start. LB is a bit of a weakness for Germany at the minute.

I guess if Werner was fit, he'd not be starting. Shame he's out. Already making his mark on that team.

he was missing from Leipzig game at the weekend through injury.
But no, he hasn't as yet played at senior level, just U21 level 2 or 3 years ago. I guess with the talent they have had at central defence in recent years. but he's really come into his own now, and is making a name for himself. This is just his 2nd season in the Bundlesliga, maybe he'll have a chance at the next squads? He's a quality player.

Armenia came close to qualifying a couple of tournaments ago, I remember them putting four past Denmark in Copenhagen.  Now they're back to being obliterated whenever they play decent sides.  What happened, was it just a complete fluke?
