Nice draw for the Irish. That said Switzerland and Denmark will probably be happy with that too.

LOL, I just noticed Slovakia didn't even make the play-offs. It`s a shame for them.

OFC we drew with Lithuania and gave away an unnecessary last minute goal to England that cost us...

Definitely could have been worse.

Switzerland won't be easy at all. They were desperately unlucky to miss out on automatic qualifying, but would rather face them than Portugal. Being at home first has it's obvious disadvantages.

Happy to draw Denmark. Just need to keep it tight in the first leg. A draw would be a great result as we can bore anyone to death at Landsdowne Road.

You have to pick one of NI or ROI to go to the World Cup.

Who do you choose?
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Italy - Sweden
Croatia - Greece
Denmark - Ireland
Northern Ireland - Switzerland

I'll go with Italy, Croatia, Denmark and Switzerland.

Croatia is a difficult tie but we have a chance against anyone of those seeded teams except Italy, so if we can at least keep it to a small loss i.e. a 1-0 or a 2-1 etc or even better a draw going into the 2nd leg in Greece, then we have a decent chance. Croatia definite favourites but we have a chance at least over the two legs.
