I had a couple of quid on Bucharest at 14/1 to win. Shame really.

Both an assist and a goal for the lad.  Not quite Jamie Pollock standard, but pretty close.

Celtic will go through easily imo, i hope this time Brendan gets luckier in the group stages draw.
Sporting-Steau result surprised me the most but Sporting is capable of winning in Romania.

Celtic really need to win by a couple of clear goals tonight.....Astana are near unbeatable in their own ground (I don't think they've lost a single game in Europe in Kazakhstan for years now.

Speaking of which, I was in Astana in May. One of the weirdest cities I've ever been to. Insanely low population density, felt like a ghost town...and it was a nice spring day in the center by the Bayterek tower and Nazarbayev presidential palace. I wonder how empty it looks in cold winter days. (very good infrastructure to the city, however....in a decades, it will be Dubai-esque)

Almaty on the other hand is a fantastic, lively, and energetic city with a great vibe that I'd happily live in.

It's supposed Liverpool targets Insigne vs Seri in direct competition with each other. I want to see them both fighting for Jurgen Klopp's love!

Excited to see Seri against a quality opposition. He's absolute class, but sometimes goes missing in big games. Hope he delivers tonight and we snap him up soon after  :)

Cardinale, Le Marchand, Dante, Souquet, Sarr, Seri, Koziello, Jallet, Saint-Maximin, Plea, Lees-Melou

Watch out for Saint Maximin as well. Was supposed to be the next big thing at Monaco after Mbappe but stagnated. Still 20 years old and a talent though.

Napoli-Nice for the quality and Celtic-Astana for the atmosphere and the lack of Trevor Francis.

you would expect them to go though very easy mate that is why I think the nice game has more lfc interest in seeing if these players like siri are any good.

actually surprised he is still there, he has been consistently great for the last few years and i thought he would be chased this summer.

Celtic should be two up already, Sinclair and Griffiths missing sitters.

The sinclair one wasn't a sitter, it was behind him, all he could do was sort of stab at it.  But yeah, the other one, should have at least been on target, it was a really good opportunity.

Saint-Maximin looking more suited to us than Seri in the first twenty minutes.  If there was a CM i'd want at Liverpool on this pitch it's Hamsik.

Nice make us look watertight.

this Mertens guy would get loads of goals in a Liverpool team. Really like him from what I have seen so far
