The point is that everyone of the top 6 has the ability to challenge for the league. They all wont but there is no reason that they shouldnt. After seeing the teams in 2005-10 in this league all these sides pale in comparison. There is no stand out side.

Only Man City have a super deep squad of immense quality but i dont know about Guardiola. At the moment i dont think he knows what style or setup his team must be taking.

Not getting the Mkhitaryan hype, especially. He's not close to the Coutinho, Eriksen, De Bruyne group in terms of influencing a game. Has the odd moment in games, but spends too much of the match on the fringes.

The Bailly/Jones/Matic triangle has been important for them. Two extremely aggressive, front foot defenders, with Matic disciplined, sensing danger and filling in when necessary.

Jones seems to have been gurning around forever. Had to check when the commentator said he was still only 25.

I agree with all of this. Jones has been absolutely fantastic this season and I hope he can finally overcome his injury troubles. We're still a nifty creator or pacey wide goalscorer away from being league winning candidates for me.
