It was, but there's too many long/low/skipped passes which are too risky in these situations.

Got out of jail there. Might have been a yellow for a try line penalty.

The Lions are going to need a bigger lead going into the last 20. The Crusaders finish strong

Or the Wyn Jones tackle when he was miles offsides!

Good, tough game, feel for Hogg. After his bad game last week he would have been itching for another chance.

Not confident we will see this through but a win would be huge.

True. Played well up to a point. Watching what I can while allegedly supervising homework but seems like North and Williams haven't seen a huge amount of ball? Missing a little bit of magic.

Yeah. Playing in the right areas but just ticking over with the pens isn't enough.

They'll be better this half you'd Think

To be fair we have been unlucky with the very last ball on a couple of occasions. Especially at the beginning of the game, when Crusaders were making a lot of early errors. Farrell just missed a kick though really need a try.

Maybe. Should have fixed the defender a bit better.
And I was about to write suggesting Liam Williams drop might turn out to be the pass of the game  :D

Like Watson at FB I have to say.

Just not clinical enough at the moment, had some good chances but poor decisions and rushing have stopped them getting the try.

It's as I thought, the Crusaders game suits the Lions - they probably should've kicked their pens though.

Still plenty of room for improvement and absolutely have to be more clinical but still an impressive performance and a huge win for morale. A defeat here and things could have crumbled.

Well done the Lions. Yes we need to be more clinical, but our defensive work today was impressive. Really liking the combination of Murray and Farrell as well.

Good call. I'll have her, Russell Crowe, Brendan Cole from Strictly and Flight of the Conchords saved for the tests.
I'll be in a bit of trouble if we win all three tests though.

Very much looks like a midweek side. Hard to see anyone but Warburton starting the first test.

Such an unlucky way to get ruled out. Plenty of options for Full Back still, who will make the first Test do we think? Watson, Payne, Halfpenny and Daly the contenders I guess. Liam Williams too?
