I don't want our Kenny to be made a knight. Shitty corrupt system and he's so much better than that. The fact Alex Ferguson got knighted and Kenny hasn't been yet tells you all you need to know.

If it happened now (probably for services to Hillsborough families, because it's all so trendy now to jump on the bandwagon) it would be too little too late.

He is one of ours and always has been - i'm sure it's good enough for Kenny and it's good enough for us.

Excellent news and for me it shows a great understanding of our club by the owners.

It also shows that Tom Werner understands the man as well - Probably embarass him. You're probably right, but NOBODY deserves it more.

What Kenny (and Marina) did not only for the club, but also for the city itself after Hillsborough should NEVER be forgotten.

Apparently they ask first so that if someone refuses it never goes public.

For me growing up watching the greatest player in our history was a privilege. Likewise when he took over as manager and brought success on the pitch. Then what he did for us after Hillsborough and what he went through at that time he so deserves this honour. His name deserves to be remembered long after we've all gone and naming the stand after him is so fitting. Long live the King.
