Can never count him out come major time, big time player if ever there was one. So difficult to pick the winner of these deep field events these days, wouldn't be surprised if any one of a dozen were hoisting it come sunday.

I think the real surprise this weekend will be the winning score. Can't make my mind up whether they go out there and shoot the lights out or the course bares it's teeth. The rough looks crazy.

It looks an absolute beast. Greens are about 12 and a half on the stimp I think and it's crazy long. Depends how windy it gets, if it kicks up I'd expect a few under par to win it at best, if it's a bit more benign maybe double figures under.

If they're 12 and a half on the stimp and the wind picks up then we could be looking at a lot of scrunched up faces on the greens. I'd like it to be a winning score in the par to -4 range. They've had it too easy for too long.

Herbert had a round of two halves. looked early on and he was smashing it - out in 31, 5 under par. cursed i hadn't picked him having done so recently.
