Went to visit a few friends I hadn’t seen in many years. One of them is recently single and I’ll be lying if my trip didn’t have ulterior motives. We’d only been friends before but I always felt there was a connection there, a possible romance.
The group of us spent a fun day together and the girl asked intimate questions whenever we were alone. She was also quite touchy feely throughout. That night, we danced a little, I got quite close to her and was very close to going in for a kiss, but couldn’t get the right moment.
Within the space of the next 15 minutes, she was on the phone texting, and invited some other guy to the event. She then takes him back to the flat we’d all rented out. The taxi home and the next morning where among the most awkward I’ve experienced. I was pure class to the guy and can hold my head up that I didn’t do anything stupid.
