I'm not watching these as they go out; I've torrented each episode and am waiting for the whole series before I stuff myself on them in a few weeks' time.

That was an absolute belter of an episode, the best of the series so far for me.

Gotta say that the last two have been belters. Totally superb.

Winston selling pizzas - class. And the fighting over the wee lassie - classic. Just a shame Jim Watt didn't hit the twats harder at the end, looked a little tame.

And the whole Hyperdales thing - great writing.

And Hinesy - top-class directing, particularly at the end, with Jack and Victor running out from behind the fire engine ... followed with great timing by Tam still in his cage. Pissed myself - almost  :-[

We're watching the last episodes of the five series DVD we bought recently just in time to see tonight's episode.  We absolutely love it.  Hinesy, how old are "Jack and Victor" in real life and how old is "Isa"?

Cheers mate.  Is there anybody over 50 in it?  There'd better be or won't the BBC have to cancel it under these new "open-ness" rules?

Hinesy, what do you call the actress who played Jim Watt's daughter in Seconds Out?

Am i right in thinking she was the barmaid in series 3 in Swottin?

I thought last nights episode over all was superb. My only minor gripe was the Tam and Frances having a baby plot. I've said many times in this thread that Still Game is as funny as anything you'll see, but until that story it's always been believable, too.

I still think it's the best thing that's been on TV for years..

no, that was a character called Margo, this was Stacey, played by Kerry Lyn Hamilton.

Sorry you thought that fella, but I do think there's loads of unbelievable things that go on - Shug's ears, Big Innes, and so on... Anyway next week's is a great way to go out - it's the 2nd part of the this one.

No, no mate, you're entirely allowed your opinion, of course... I happen to think its far-fetched too but for me the series has always had its utterly bizarre moments so I can accept it I guess. But I have no worries with what you write there mate :wave (so yes, you still get a walk on ;) )

Last episode of the series, tonight..

Episode 7 - ONE IN ONE OUT
BBC TWO: 22:00 Thursday 23rd August
Tam and Frances enjoy fame and fortune with their new addition but it means baby sitting stints for Jack and Victor which is proving a bit of a strain.

Next you'll be telling us that Jack, Victor, Navid, Tam, Winston and Isa aren't really pensioners...
