God knows how Charles is still in. A total whopper who did nothing on this task. Ross got fired last week for exactly the same reason.

He's being kept for the interviews I reckon. He'll be torn apart. He can't ever accept he's wrong so it'll be great viewing  ;D

How the hell is Andrew still there, he is so full of himself and his attitude is plain embarrassing. Both of those tours were total jokes, Bruges isn't even that big, how the hell can you get lost there? As for Elizabeth and her school teacher act, I'd have told her where to go.

I used to work on cruise ships and used to go on the tours a lot - trust me, in every single one there was a stage where you were gonna go visit somewhere just to try and get you to buy stuff and most of the time, people would buy something. That was the big thing in this task that the one team failed to grasp. Plus, if you go to Bruges, you want to see the famous spots, get some pics taken, taste some waffles, taste some Belgian beer and get some chocolates - quite basic stuff really.

As it happens, I was in Bruges on Sunday and it was just me and the missus finding our own way around - it really doesn't need a genius to navigate the town and it's certainly not big enough to get lost in. How on earth SrrrrAlun decided that it was the PM who was responsible is way beyond me - Charles and Andrew should both have gone for their diabolical performances.

Another task where they're set up to fail. Doubt many people would be able to put together a good tour of a city you've literally just set foot in for the first time.

They were obviously given maps and information on the main tourist sites. All they needed to do was mug up on a few sites and plan a route. They didn't need to know everything about Bruges, they just needed to know enough to point things out and give a few facts.

The fuck ups were over-promising about the beer tasting and the Segway 'tour', being boring, getting lost and not spotting the possibilities for upselling.

I cannot believe Charles has lasted so long.

He should have been fired in the 1st episode.

And last weeks task when they were looking for the Jewish cake and he marched the sub team into a turkish supermarket to buy some, the guy lives in London and he's Jewish and he didn't think to go to Golders Green for the item. :butt

And marching the tour group around St John's hospital looking for the entrance and had them going round god knows how many times for 3 hours and his excuse was that's what he had in mind for the tour, and that was probably an hour after he said the entrance is "round this corner". ::)

He's the most useless contestant i've ever seen.

Thought it was a bit shit that it came down to selling merchandise. Something I don't think we were told about until the end and which wasn't supposed to be the main focus of the task.

Can't believe the one who's only job was to memorise some facts didn't get brought in. As if it was some impossible task and not the easiest thing in the world :lmao
Yeah not sure if I'd want to tell everyone that I can't remember facts.

That guy who sold them a Spurs scarf for Ł30 with an ultimatum that i won't sell it to you if you offer less than that, and that was after his opening offer was Ł50.:lmao

All those high streets in London they drove past and not one of those contestants never thought to just pop into a sports shop and buy one for about Ł3. :D

Sorry about harping on about that task but i just watched the last 2 episodes last night.

Someone asked Claude this very question on Twitter after this aired and he said they are not allowed to just pop in to a high street store and buy it.  The point of the task is to source and then negotiate the best price for the listed items from independent retailers, small businesses or personal sellers.

Ah but it's not "her thing", so of course she can't be expected to do it.

Made it out like they were asking her to teach a Masters course in European history, rather than point out a few landmarks.

So basically a bunch of British fuckwits went to Belgium and failed to negotiate any kind of deal.
Sounds familiar.

 :lmao

They may be utterly useless on this show, but still probably not as incompetent as the cabinet.

The Bruges one seemed to be one of the most bluntly edited ones yet.

Like at the end, they only showed 5 seconds of the whole Segway group parking up for example.

Also when they were on the horse and cart, just me or was the group significantly smaller?

Seemed like they lost people along the way which would have been no surprise at all given what materialised.

God these contestants are awful

It's so, so incredibly hard to watch - I've never seen anything like it. I physically flinch at it.
Imagine paying actual money, in real life, for one of those trips ... for anything in the entire series.

I'm not saying this because I fancy her, but I think she'd kinda earned the right to a quiet week. Same as Sarah. They've both shown great leadership and business acumen throughout most of the series. If their business plans are top I'd back one of those two to win.

The only one out of the four who shouldn't have been fired ended up being fired. It's difficult to be creative when you end up in a Norman village trying to sell a modern car. I don't see how he was to blame at all.

I don't buy into people only staying in or being in the competition because of their business plans either. The last two winners have been a plumber who had to change his business plan in the last episode and someone who bakes cakes.

The whole thing is a joke. But still so much fun. Special mention to Anisa who managed to fuck up a presentation in a way I didn't think was imaginable.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

Let’s be honest, the only thing he’s done all series is shout how creative he is, then whenever he’s got a chance to show it he fails to show even an ounce of creative ability.

Not sure he was the worst of the 4 though, personally though I’d have sacked all but the team leader (who was exceptionally weak but I’d at least allow him a second chance).

When all four got brought back in I thought he might be the only one to survive. He was certainly nowhere near as bad as the other three on this task.
