Have they said when they were coming to OZ yet?

I dont think it will be until early 2010 but I hope it's earlier. Perth is gonna be boss coz its Bon's hometown and they better do it last. They will save the best until last. One thing I am proud of is Bon went to the same high school as me.

Madison Square Garden

ACDC

just over 50 quid a Ticket - bloody Bargain

And you turned it down!!!

each to their own i suppose

 :'(

After turning down the tickets, I saw an old live performance on television at like 3 in the morning a few weeks later.  All I wanted to do was fall asleep but this thing kept me up for at least an hour.  I take back my statement about not being a big fan.  I regret not going to the show.  I will be at the next one in NY no matter what.  I'll never question anyone again that says this is an amazing band.

There was a program about them on Belgium TV with an interview with Angus Young.
What a nice guy he is ! So really down to earth, almost shy. So good to see there are some normal people left in Rock.

Off stage they must be the most down to earth band ever with absolutely no need to be in focus just getting on with their "normal" life and then suddenly make a record + world tour when they feel for it. Brian can be seen here and there but the rest of them just disapear.
To bad they are ageing like the rest of us when they should be immortal and keep going forever :)

I was in Dusseldorf yesterday and it was bloody awesome! go out and get yourself a ticket (probably sold out anyway..), it's absolutely worth it. Great gig, simply a great rock band!

Terrific set they are playing too.

The supporting act was 'the answer' - yesterday at least. But I've read they had been the supporting act for the whole US-tour too.

Here´s the playlist from Globen Stockholm two weeks ago:

1. Rock ’n’ roll train
2. Hell ain’t a bad place to be
3. Back in black
4. Big Jack
5. Dirty deeds done dirt cheap
6. Shot down in flames
7. Thunderstruck
8. Black ice
9. The jack
10. Hells bells
11. Shoot to thrill
12. War machine
13. Anything goes
14. You shook me all night long
15. T.N.T.
16. Whole lotta Rosie
17. Let there be rock
18. Highway to hell
19. For those about to rock

Same for both gigs and both where excellent! They have lost some pace but can still rock as no one else :)
Brilliant sound and you can really see how they enjoy being on stage. Only 3 months until they are back again ;D

Set in Dusseldorf was obviously the same.

It's a great mix between the classic songs and some stuff from the new album. Particularly 'War machine' is a powerful song live.

The intro of the show is wicked as well! :)

As a Liverpool fan I am so far unfamiliar with the Wembley Stadium seating plan  :(

While surfing the Wembley website to check out my seat location, I came across this interesting piece of ACDC trivia listed within the concert details.

"Did you know? AC/DC is an abbreviation for 'alternating current/direct current' which is the technical term for when electricity is being converted from alternating current to a direct current."

Their Webmaster must be a  right hoot!

Went to the O2 Arena the day after the Anniversary.  This is the 11th time I have seen them and although Angus is not as energetic as he used to be, and Brian Johnsons vocals too, they were as good as I have ever seen them.  What a band.  Same set list as above, and a great start.  Nearly died with shock when they finished with For Those About to Rock....honest!

Loved the bit when they were playing The Jack and the big screen would focus in on some random girl in the crowd.  Their first response was to go "ooh look I'm on telly" only to realise the context of the song and then hide their face in embarassment.  Class!
