All I can say is I hope Simeone doesn't replace Solskjaer, or Bruce for that matter. He's got us worked out.

Has he fuck. 2-0 down tonight, absolutely battered in the 2nd leg in 19/20.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

I think I might despise these more than anyone else in Europe, snide shithouses who revel in it. Would give anything to wipe that shit eating grin of Simeone's face by the end of this one.

Not watching the HT "analysis" but why was their first allowed? Surely Lemar is interfering with play as Matip can't defend and stop the ball crossing the line?

I thought that on the first replay, matip looks like he stops attempting to kick it

He definitely does, they need to re examine what constitutes interferring with play. Attempting to play the ball cant be the only thing that matters, he jumped over the ball infront of a defender to allow it in right infront of a defender

Don't think Milner's got two games in four days in his legs anymore, Hendo hasn't looked 100% fit since he came back. Keita was very poor for both goals. I mean we're suffering because of injuries to our midfielders so we can't rotate the same.

Fabinho on for Keita seems obvious to me, and collectively give the back four a clip around the ear (excepting perhaps Trent), and give Alisson a clap on the back. I'd consider someone else for Milner too.

Why are people so eager to see Fabinho, Milner and Henderson as our midfield? Keita may not have been great for either goal but we still need him in there for something different. If Fabinho is coming on I’d rather see Milner or Henderson come off

Keita has been terrible off the ball. Could do two midfield changes.

Seriously, how the fuck can their first goal be allowed to stand?!

I was thinking that myself.  He's clearly interfering with play.

Van Dijk should have tackled Griezmann. Greizmann just gets a shot off with no challenge. I know Van Dijk is a calm customer but still.
I think he is injured- he has held his knee a few times

What do you mean? Looked onside to me.

I hope you’re being sarcastic

Definitely offside and interfering with play. Goal shouldn’t have stood

Keita needs to be given a talking too. Do the basic stuff.

Fab on...an absolute must.

If sticking with the same formation, would take off Milner myself.

If changing formation, as John C said, reckon that 442 may be the way to go. Would take Mane off in that scenario, keep Bobby deepish with Salah up top and try to push the fullbacks forward.

All hypothetical. If offered, I'd take a point right now.

It's mental how it wasn't, refs bottled it. Almost as mental at how the commentator and the Evertonian didn't even spot it after about 10 replays.

No one elses fault he was terribly positioned. Stopping the ball earlier is obviously the aim but you still have to defend well yourself
As soon as Keita is run past Matip has to come out to engage. That completely unsettles the defence and leaves a huge gap for VVD to defend.

Yes he could have done better but the first mistake was the costliest.

2-2, all to play for. Bring Fabinho on and it’s a different game. Not arguing with their first goal. We’d be fuming if it was ruled out for us.

It's as if they were about to disallow it and then that extra from Bring It On they have as a manager started geeing up the crowd and they went "Oh shit they're loud, I'm not ruling this out, give it".
