The moment the City fans start taking the piss out of Ole or start gloating about their own success is the moment that the United fans forget about their hate for us and concentrate their anger on Man City. It's practically a law of football. Other than winning yourself, there is nothing better than seeing opposing fans suffer right in front of you. When they realise they can take the piss out of damaging their neighbour's chances of winning the league the United home support will relish the pain. Then they'll obviously come down off their high and realise they've opened the door for the Reds. That's when the self-hatred will start. But it'll be too late by then.
United used to win titles on easy street, time for us to take over that real estate
You're equating the fans with the players. The players are a completely different story. Their players will want to put in their best and win and so will Ole but I don't agree that the crowd will be up for it. Anyway, let's see tomorrow.
Anyone any suggestions on how I get through these 90 minutes tomorrow night? Not sure I can watch it, it will be pure torture. I don't think I can just check the score afterwards either. At least if you know the score throughout there's a gradual disappointment when City win.Jesus I'd love a fucking 0-0 draw. A filthy one.
They ain't winning tomorrow, mark my words.
I've a few, but I'm not sharing.
Craig Burnley V West Ham - WEST HAM WIN - INCORRECT
Anyone else putting some money on city win tomorrow (or every game in the run in for that matter) to soften the likely blow?
I think the best thing that could have happened for the atmosphere was that loss to Everton. They won't want to get humiliated twice in a week.
Er, won't it make it THREE times in a week?
Everyone's sure that this is a foregone conclusion.I see it differently. Here goes! Fernandinho gets a red card for a tackle on Rashford in the first 10 minutes. Pogba scores into a silent Stretford End in the 40th minute and the cameras hone in on Sir Whiskey Beak pretending to look happy .Sterling loses it with a ball boy and gets sent off 5 minutes into the second half. 9- man City huff and puff but get blown away by a second own goal from Stones 5 minutes from time. Hilariously, De Gea and Pogba celebrate and wave their goodbyes in front of the Stretford End at the final whistle, but there's no-one left in there 'cos they've all pissed off back to Essex. There you go.
I'm expecting some levels of shit housery from City. Watch Bernardo and Sterling look to dive in the area tomorrow.
Who's the ref?
Glass half full expectations for tomorrow:-1. Ole won't want 7 losses out of 92. The players need to win back the support of the fans.3. Everton was their lowest point.4. Utd don't want city getting any sort of treble.5. De Bruyne missing.6. Top 4.Glass half empty1. Toxicity is back and none of the players give a shit and they lose.2. City have won plenty of times without De Bruyne 3. No defence, midfield or tactics for a long time.I can't see anything other than holding out with backs to the wall for 20minutes and then city score.
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.
If anyone is going to put a few fingers deep into my arse it's going to be me.
Normally a player can look great on tubes, but one of the things that's encouraging for me is just the amount of youtube videos on him
I can’t comprehend for the life of me why anyone wouldn’t want to watch tomorrow. It’s a game of football where by the end of it could put the title in our own hands. Yes the chances aren’t great but Utd away will always be in my top 5 of away grounds for City to go to needing a win. If you’d rather go the cinema then you’re not in this title race for the same reasons as I am.
If City don't score early there's a chance as we've not really seen City under pressure as they tend to score early.Hopefully De Gea too has a game like he did against Spurs rather than the one against Barca
There's every chance it's 0-0 at half time. We would then need to see City really go for it and take risks, and United could nick one on the counter. There's also every chance City are 3 up at half time and we move on to hoping for Burnley to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Either way, it's going to be hell to watch.
I'd rather watch and get the bad news as it comes. Ease into it. If it goes bad of course. Otherwise in the few seconds it'll take me to pick up my phone and check the result on livescore, my pulse will increase to 170. I can't be doing that.
Fucking years of watching these mancs hoping for a loss and them always winning at the death, and now ive got to watch and hope they win and that shit is barely on.
From this morning, I'm referring to Manchester United as 'we'.
Lol. How is watching it going to get someone eased into it. You watch Man United get crushed, then it'll be a horrible painful game for 90 minutes with all hope drained out.Rather, you see the score after the game (on any of the upcoming days) when you're prepared to see the score, then just see it, "ah they lost!" and then put no more thought into that. I know which one I'd call as easing into the knowledge of it
