Stankovic is a curious one. He could play wide and as an 8, and I've got him as a wide player. Which was his predominant one, any idea?

Fekir, he had 2 phenomenal scoring seasons from his position, and one more good season. His talent is obvious and his role (what he does) is very rare in football. Think Bobby. I can wait a couple of years to see and put him in, but he's not been inferior to Alli (who has had his own drop of form) in any way.

You can argue that Alli has done it at a higher level than Fekir. [although I see Fekir as a better player]

On a serious note, his early Chelsea days showed so much promise and then he fell off a cliff.

In terms of talent alone, he was indeed of platinum standard. At one point, he was the best player in the world. Before Messi & Ronaldo, and in 2000+ years, there were very few who could say was the best player at some point of time, all massive names and Kaka was one of them. The problem with him was he faded at a time when he should've still have been at his peak. Real Madrid move didn't do him any favours.

Another player who moved too early to Madrid and lost his career. too short a peak imo. The likes of Hummels, Lewa, Gundogan and Reus from that side have kicked on while Sahin and Kagawa regressed.

Yeah. It kind of meant he faded away but yeah, terrific player.
