Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Neco Williams, Roberto Firmino, Nat Phillips, Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho strike a pose at Liverpool training earlier this week.

Jurgen Klopp and Ralph Hassenhuttl shoot the breeze ahead of tonight’s game.

No, it’s not what you think. Upon closer inspection, it turns out Gini Wijnaldum is merely squirting the contents from a water bottle.

Not ideal for the Liverpool players, who have just over one hour to prepare for one of their biggest games of their league season.

It’s still tense outside the ground.

Early chance for Firmino, who is released in the box and shoots a little late perhaps, Bailly blocking. Liverpool want a handball but it struck Bailly’s limb after ricocheting off another part of his body. The corner comes to nought.

No penalty, says Anthony Taylor.

That’s going in.

Penalty?

No, says the ref.

A deserved leveller! Jota improvises delightfully to flick Phillips’ shot past Henderson after United get bogged down in their own box following that corner. Game on here!

Liverpool now have a fairly dangerous-looking free-kick on the right and Trent Alexander-Arnold gets ready.

As you’d expect, Alexander-Arnold whips it in from the flank on a sixpence. Firmino ghosts around the back, beyond Pogba, and bullets his header past Henderson from a matter of yards!

Roberto Firmino adds a third for Liverpool.

Roberto Firmino takes to the air after scoring his second and Liverpool’s third goal in the rampant win Manchester United.

Manchester United look dejected after conceding a third goal.

Diogo Jota smacks one against the post.

Goal for United!

Bruno Fernandes with the free-kick.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold shoots on a night at Old Trafford that he dominated from start to finish.

That’s the breakaway clincher they have threatened. Matic overruns the ball, Jones hooks it through and Salah – with an entire half to run into – keeps his composure, giving Henderson the eyes and sticking the ball to his right. All over bar the shouting!

Liverpool celebrate at the final whistle and three vital points in the race for the Champions League.

Liverpool’s manager, Jürgen Klopp, celebrates his side’s 4-2 victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Nat Phillips with a chance for Liverpool.

A chance for West Brom in the Liverpool box but Ajayi can’t get a touch on it.

Goal for West Brom!

Goal! Sublime stuff from Mohamed Salah.

Bartley gets a bang to the phizog but his team have a free-kick, 25 yards out and just right of centre. Phillips and Pereira fancy it but the former runs away, the latter curling over wall and bar.

Sadio Mane is just offside.

On the touchline, Shaqiri and his hair are preparing to come on.

Alisson gets his head on it...

My word, Alisson (yes) scores the winner! Wow!

Unbelievable stuff from Alisson!

That's beautiful.
Not just the artwork, but the concept.
Love how it's about the 96, the foundation, unity, and still manages to emphasise the Reds a bit more.
Nicely balanced.
I don't normally take selfies and that but I'd go there to take one with that backdrop for sure.

There is a piece on the Echo website on this. Carragher signing the finished article.

Hopefully the fact it features both clubs will go some way to lessening the chance of some worthless moron defacing it.
