Time for Rafa to support the ousting of Hicks in my opinion.

Wouldn't Hicks threaten him with the sack if he did that?

We're talking about a situation where Hicks is desperate to offload to DIC.

We're not automatically talking about a situation where DIC hold Gilett's share as well.
eh???!!!! Have you have you been in Guantanamo Bay for the past 2 years? At no point has Hicks EVER given a hint that he wants to sell to DIC - he sees Liverpool as nothing but a cash cow. You are now joining the list of posters I choose to ignore with that ridiculous comment

How about this for a possible scenario.....

Hicks asks for Parry's resignation
Parry refuses
Georgie-Boy backs Parry
Hicks Spits dummy :  "I can't work with Georgie-Boys Board"
Hicks Sell his 50%
Georgie Sells : But probably not his full 50%

Any takers ?

Or how about........
Hicks hasn't got the bollocks to come over and discuss business properly like proper businessmen do because:
a) He's a fucking joke for a businessman
b) I'll want to be the first one to meet him off the plane
c)..............followed by everyone else who wants him  six feet under
d) He won't survive 10 minutes in Merseyside
e)....and probably most importantly.........he's scared and trying to save face, because the more this goes on; the less likely he is of EVER being able to conduct business especially in this country ever again!!!

to be fair to both parry and moores, after the original f##k up of selling the club to the yanks it seems according to the echo etc they have tried to limit the amount of debt put on the club, and although i dont know for certain i`d bet whatever moves moores and parry have made in the background recently i reckon they`ve had the best interests of the club at heart.
i deffo reckon they`ve got an attitude of `we`ve f##ked up big time here, lets see if we can sort it out somehow`.
love him or hate him, i reckon at this moment rick parry is fighting for the good of the club.
i think we should back him in this one.

interesting development to say the least... but I don't see it as necessarily strengthening hicks's grip.

gillett has to approve it, no? so it's another deadlock and to me it seems like both sides are getting points on the board before it goes to court. it'll surely end up in court, and DIC will wait and wait.

if that's wrong, and if hicks is tightening his grip, then I suppose the positive is potentially more autonomy for rafa in the transfer market.

it's manipulative to cite rafa though. hicks thinks this is gonna get fans on his side, but he can think again, the fat bastard.

It would seem not, they should read around the subject a bit more.

Parry has many short-comings. But nothing like as many as Hicks.

It is believed that a letter arrived at Anfield on Thursday - just 48 hours after Liverpool's triumphant passage into the Champions League semi-finals - demanding chief executive Parry's departure.

Don't forget this letter was actually posted in Jan 2007 - Royal Mail 2nd class post and it arrived today!

The passions are obviously running high gents and gals...but chill out with the bickering.
Truth is none of us really know what exactly is going on.

The 'chess pieces' that Gillett was blethering about last week are obviously being thrown around the room at this stage but we'll not know until Gillett says something. Until he does, it'll just be yet another front of brinkmanship.

Embarrassing no doubt about that

Parry must and will stay, at least until Hicks is out. I think the majority of fans can see why thats the case i.e. to oppose Hick's decisions in the board room. The more anti-hicks people we have at the club the less likely Hicks is to load more debt on the club and the more likely DIC return to buy
yeah but hicks being an evil c*nt has cited rafa as one of the reasons in all this ...which will leave parry an rafa at loggerheads...
just what is hicks trying to achieve here...he must have known parry would tell him to fuck off!

is this the end game playing out with this an the DIC news today...?
has this been set up to draw all the players and factions in this saga out an see where everyone stands?
or is it hicks just being a gobshite an a greedy tyrant trying to get his way?
i suspect we'll find out soon..
anyway thanks for the exciting news you promised Tom
intentionally or not Hicks has just landed the club into a huge world of shit

my heads spinning with all the different rammifications of this and the only thing i know for sure is Hicks truly is c*nt and doesnt give a flyin fuck about anything but cash...
