Big win for Leeds that, gift of a goal though, ref was shocking.

Impressive win for Aston Villa at the Riverside. 4 goals against Birmingham, 5 goals against Forest and 3 goals against Middlesbrough.
My favourite all time LFC player? Tough choice.

11 in 14 for Abraham.

Watched the game at my stepdads, we couldn't believe how poor the ref was. That double foul on the halfway line with no cards after carding a player for turning his back to avoid a collision?

There was one earlier in the first half, which should have been a red card for a Sheffield United player, but the ref didn't even award a free kick. :o

Drama at Norwich, 94th minute winner for Norwich just after Bolton have a player sent off, Middlesbrough drop points, Leeds win, Forest lose but Derby win, little bit of daylight between the top 2 & the rest.

This Daniel Farke seems to be doing a good job at Norwich - another German manager.

Referee's being clueless certainly isn't just for the PL.  Clearest penalty call you can get in this Derby/Forest game and the ref completely bottles it.  Not sure if anybody can find a gif of it but it's ridiculous with the defender swinging his leg wildly, not getting the ball but hits the player in the chest and yet no penalty was given.  Just crazy.

Germany's coaching curriculum includes marks based on the personality of the coach, as well as their knowledge of the game and coaching ability. So it's no surprise that German coaches have the personalities to get players working for them.

Loved the rhythm of the game but it was a sloppy game and the lack of quality in and around both boxes was evident.

PS: Michael Hefele should not be allowed to play football.

Great game on TV now, Leeds have come back from 2-0 down to equalise away at Villa.

Quite a few academy players getting chances under Bielsa and playing really well.

It has been a great game between two big clubs. I always find it strange how so many people won't ever watch the Championship, but they'll gladly sit and watch Huddersfield v Fulham on Monday Night Football in the greatest league in the world. This has comfortably been higher quality than most games between the bottom six or seven sides in the Prem.

I agree.  Even compared to the games that were on yesterday, this has been much more entertaining than Arsenal/Burnley or Cardiff/United.

Good crowd and atmosphere in the stadium too, much more so than some PL games this weekend.

Cracking game that
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Leeds back in the PL under Bielsa would be interesting.

Can't help but like that he trusts academy players who then play without any fear.  God knows how long he'll last there but he does things the way you would want any manager to do them, doesn't simply rely on an open chequebook but looks to implement a style and philosophy that is easy on the eye.

I'm so happy for Marcelo Bielsa. I hope he's able to get Leeds back into the PL - not because I have any particular goodwill towards Leeds, but because I'll always be happy when Bielsa is succesful. I'll always be grateful for what he did with the Chilean National Team :)

Fascinating coach to follow. Still wonder if Leeds will have an epic implosion towards the end of the season because it seems to happen to his teams sometimes and they burn out. But I don't know. I think it's remarkable how he's coached the Leeds players to his very complicated and challenging methods and they've responded so well.
