Not having to win in case Chelsea beat Newcastle should reduce risks of desperation, in case a winner turns out not to be easily forthcoming. This reduced anxiety increases the actual likelihood that we will now win. Thank you Huddersfield and their reward is safety.

Conte seems like he knows he's off (seems desperate to go as well) so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he threw in the towel in the league and even rested some players against Newcastle for the FA Cup final.

that definitely takes some pressure off and Chelsea wont beat Newcastle playing like that. Newcastle will want to sign off with a win and Rafa will want to fuck chelsea and help liverpool. He will tell his players that some of them are playing for their futures at the club.

This is what I was thinking

With their shitty conservative game Conte was bigging up 😂😂😂

It’s rare we lose 2 in a row...but...

I have a good feeling about the next 2 games 😉

Knew they’d probably drop points somewhere along the way .... didn’t expect it tonight but that’s the thing about probabilistic stuff  - you never know how things will play out it’s just that overall they mostly will; it was always super hard for them to win all their games.

We’ll be fine on Sunday. Don’t even think it’s super likely Chelsea will win at Newcastle.

That Huddersfield result is a god send for us. Takes an awful of the pressure off us.

I remember in the Boro game last year when Arsenal went ahead against Everton the tension around the stadium became unbearable and until that Wijnaldum goal on half time affected our performance.

I expected a similar day on Sunday but that Huddersfield result tonight means that it will still be in our hands even if Chelsea score before we do.

Regardless of the Huddersfield result today, I hope the team show up with the mindset of winning the match. We should be on them from the start. This will do a lot for confidence going to Kiev.

haha....david wagner didn't let us down. Now expect rafa to finish off chelsea over the weekend.....  ;D

BTW newcastle should have beaten spurs. They dominated them.

I still think we will win Brighton though.

So it seems the last round of matches looks to be pretty low key.

Top 4 almost decided.

Relegation teams are decided (no way swansea is gonna score loads of goal on the last day if southampton loses).
