I had the black away Madrid top few seasons ago and the sponsor and stripes on the sleeves all started to peele and the kit was bobbling and getting caught on everything

Mine keeps threatening to do that

Having said that my Liverpool current home one is in danger of losing its Carlsberg
I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.

My current home LFC shirt is duing the same thing. I'm also loosing the Carlsberg on my shirt, and it is also getting caught on every thing. It is really something that is starting to piss me off.
I just hope that when we get Adidas as sponsor, the quality of the shirt will get better, couse I'm not happy with the current.

In accordance to the actual stuff shown to local shopkeepers in HONG KONG by Adidas distributor, the new home shirt will be very much alike that mock-up from Spain National Team shirt. The only difference is that there are no vertical pinstripes on it.

Imagine yourself by deleting the vertical stripes.

And for the away kit, it should be a YELLOW colour one unlike the speculations of white in colour. Interesting too the names & numbers on the backside will be RED COLOUR.  ;)

This is NOT  A WILD GUESS. The above information is based on actual factory sample shirt manufactured by Adidas Hong Kong Official Branch.

Nope. The Adidas Hong Kong are sole distributor for all sporting-goods shops' jerseys, not only Liverpool, but also Chelsea, Newcastle, Real Madrid etc. They are the official supply chain and won't dare to go up to ebay for selling any crappy fakes.

To be fair, the far east does seem to get kits much earlier than we do, I saw a genuine european shirt on sale in Hong Kong about a month before we could buy it here.

Mr Yip - do you know anywhere in HK where you can buy the players' versions of the shirts? Im guessing idiot Kok will be my best bet.

No genuine player shirts are on sale in any Hong Kong shops. The Mongkok shops are only good at official replicas with official Lextra Fuseon patches ironed on. They are not experts of genuine player shirts of Liverpool.

Lazy,

Any chance you can doctor this pic from this link?

http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?t=122557&page=125&pp=15

4th picture down of the Palmerias kit if Mr Yip is to be believed that this is our new design.

Any chance you can doctor the green into red and white and also a yellow and red?

Cheers la

???

Think he means that the Adidas logo in the centre doesn't lend a symmetry to the design of the shirt, and makes the left hand side look bare, thus leaving "weird spaces".

Worth pointing out that manufacturers use this ploy so that if you're wearing a coat or trackie top that isn't done up, their logo will still be visible.

Sneaky sods.  :)

Have you noticed that the latest trend is to place the kit makers logo very high on the chest, almost on the shoulder.  I think Nike started it and others have followed suit.  It's to increase the chances that the logo is visible on TV during interviews and the like, even when the picture is framed quite tightly on the players' head and shoulders.

To balance it out, the club logo has to be placed in the same position on the opposite shoulder.

If that is the new tops i doubt i'll be giving them a miss this year, collar on the home one looks a bit shite, i dont like the 'polo' neck stlye collars.

Yeah, they don't look great. Hope we go for something a bit more retro. Like the 86, Crown Paints kit.

I still don't see why grown men are bothered by what brand makes their clubs replica kits though.

Missing something obviously

I was just checking the adidas website and the cuts for the new world cup jerseys for France and germany look the same as those above. And the collars seem to be non-flip ones, i would buy our top if it looked like the Germany or France Kit.
