Had my interview today; was quite exciting walking around central London and seeing the hustle and bustle going on, with old buildings like St Paul's Cathedral as the backdrop. Even though it stank of shit in places (not piss... shit), I liked it.
Interview went well actually, but the numerical test I had didn't go as well I don't think... really hope it won't fuck my chances up (reckon it might just...) getting in on this programme.
Funny thing, at the end of the interview when I got asked if I had any questions, one of the ones I asked was "how do you think I'd fit into the culture here?"- sort of a roundabout way of getting them to highlight any concerns he had of me so I could put him right
he gave me the reasons why he thought I would fit in, and then came to a reservation of his; although I was being professional, I didn't show enough character. Then he explained what roles he thought I'd do well in, and others I wouldn't do so well in, going by the interview- so I asked if I could "throw one into the hat"- he said sure, then I started chatting to him about football whilst opening up a bit more. He was a Chelsea fan
, still, after I told him I was a Liverpool fan, I said I wanted them to win against Man U in the Final... went on for another few minutes of conversation. Hopefully I made him think about that side of me as well.
