Finished all my uni for the first year. Dad asks if I want to do a bit of work with him. I say yes then he tells me that it will be a 6am start  :(

Just finished by AS exams, a right boss feeling knowing there's no more revision to be done for a few months.

Got a couple of marks back this week, both lower than I would have liked but my spreadsheet of doom tells me my current weighted mark overall is 61.49, which I would happily take as my final mark. Another literature review submitted today and a practical report due next Friday, then just an exam to do until October. Whew...

Final exam in 8 hours and I know quite literally nothing. Looks like an all night revision session is in order  :(

Probably be better off sleeping. Take it from someone who's already flunked a class this semester and did worse than expected (just a B instead of an A) on exams because of sleep deprivation. It doesn't work.

my current weighted mark overall is 61.49

Same!! my current average for my second year English sofar is...62.5 8)
First year was 59.5 so it's an improvement I guess!

Third year hopefully I can shift it up to 65 ish average, but as long as I'm in the 2.1 bracket I'll be chuffed.

You should be well on your way to a 2:1 with that average score. I was on that roughly going into 3rd year and expect to end up with a 64/65 average. Just put in a bit of work, take the right modules that you'll enjoy and you'll be fine.

Typically it's 70%+ for a 1st, 60%+ for a 2:1, 50%+ for a 2:2 and 40%+ for a 3rd for most degree courses.

Didn't go to many lectures in my first year, may have bombed my engineering maths exam! How lenient are unis usually on retakes? I've got 1sts on Coursework and my other module but i may just fail two module exams. Was a big wake up call today!

Resits are offered in nearly all modules but are capped at 39% in most unis. So even turning up and writing about cows in a maths exam should net you a better mark than sitting an exam out and going through the hassle of a resit.

They charge us £50 per 10 credits for re-takes here (Exeter). The average module being 30 credits; money making scheme really.

Finished both German exams over the last 2 days, both went pretty well. Just Microeconomics left on Friday now and I'm free, so much to cram in for Friday though, my brain is in for a tough day and half.

Still got two exams left but my worst one is out the way and it went pretty well. Wasn't stellar, but you can never expect these things to be. Seriously jealous of all the people who've finished.

I'm going to fail tomorrow morning :( Pity, as I'm pretty confident I've done pretty well in my other 5. Falling at the last hurdle it seems. Back in August for a repeat I'd imagine. Fuck.

Done all my exams last week and I've got fuck all to do until about September. Glorious endless summer ahead and then another term of mind numbingly stressful university! I think I've done alright in my exams so I'm not bricking it over results (although I have in the past been complacent over results in exams and bombed  :(). I did revise like mad though and one exam was open book so there shouldn't be any problems.

Moving back home now as well for the rest of uni which I'm kind of gutted about but overall it's cheaper to stay at home in the long term (which means no more culinary 'experiments' on my part or my roomates, thankfully).

Really wish I'd took your advice before my exam, good job I got lucky on the paper. On the downside, I'd drank that many energy drinks I was pretty sure I was going to do a Will out of The Inbetweeners half way through the exam!

It's pretty hard to revise when the weather is like this!

One last exam on Thursday, been a pain waiting all these weeks just for one exam but done a fair bit of revision so not too worried about it! Once it's done I'll be going on a big night out to celebrate the end of Uni then go to Turkey with the girlfriend 2 days after, can't wait! :D

Had an exam today where I was required to show some teachers that I know how to do certain things that's connected to healthcare, for example giving injections. One of the teachers was so unpleasant and bitchy that I forgot certain parts of what I was doing. She made me so fucking nervous and that made me look stupid. I just wanted to punch her afterwards because I know I haven't passed. Where's the fucking support for the students you bitter hag?

I passed!  :o ;D I almost burst out crying just now when I found out. Ha! I'm such a softie ;D
