Click HEREBlackburn Rovers play at Ewood park which is about a mile from the city centre, walkable but a fair distance so buses are recommended. Car parking is available in surrounding streets. DIRECTIONS & PARKING
To see a map of the streets & local area click hereBy TrainBlackburn Station is about a mile and half from the ground and is well served by buses. Services 3, 3A, 3B, 46, and 346 all go from Blackburn to Darwen with Ewood Park about a mile and a half into the journey. Alternatively try the small local train station Mill Hill, which is around a mile from the ground if you fancy a walk.
By CarExit the M6 at Junction 31, or take the A59/A677, following signs for Blackburn then the A666. After 1.5 miles turn left into Kidder Street. From the east, use the A679 or A667 and follow the signs for Bolton Road (then follow directions as above). There are extensive secure private parking facilities immediately adjacent to the stadium, allowing for up to 800 vehicles.
Parking Info:For Blackburn by car - just after you turn off the motorway there is a school on the left with a massive car park - usually charge about £3 but the police give you priority for getting away from the ground. Highly recommended.

Thoughts:Blackburn is like Villa in the sense that we usually get a huge allocation. Away fans are located in the Darwen End [pic below shows from this stand]. More often than not we get this entire end, upper and lower. This again usually makes for a superb atmosphere. Being pie eaters, the half time scran is usually alright, and the view from your seat is good as Ewood is a modern stadium extensively redeveloped thanks to Jack Walker's generosity in the 1990s. In layout it is similar to Anfield. With Mark Hughes there and the LFC v MUFC connection, the games tend to have a nice bit of a kick to them!
Pub guide and extrasThe Fernhurst is a large pub on Bolton Road, just across from the away end, which is swamped with away fans when the Reds are in town. In the last couple of seasons they've also had a handy beer tent set up in the car park. It's also a
hotel if you fancy staying near the stadium. If you continue going up the hill away from the ground (and towards the "quick getaway" parking area at the school) you'll find the Bear Hotel and the Golden Cup which also welcome away fans.
Most other pubs in the area are home fans only (e.g. The Aqueduct, The Ewood Arms). Alcohol is served within the ground.
Camra has a good guide to decent pubs in the Blackburn/Darwen area:
