Not so.

Kenny Dalglish was sat on the front seat of a Ryan Air flight with his wife as I boarded my plane to Murcia 3 or 4 years ago.

I stood on his toe, he winced, somewhere z-cars played sweetly in the distance.

They will have one on the Semi's on the Subday as well. So I think if we got them it would be the Sunday Game.

No chance will we play on the 15th of April.

Many years ago I took my son to a football training sesion at St Eddies, after the session finished I was walking through the school carying my daughter and holding my lads hand. When someone held a door open for me " There you go mate" he said, I was just about to offer my thanks to the fella when I noticed who it was "Lets get one thing straight you are not my mate!" I said before walking off as he stared at me shocked. Guess what big nosed ex LFC captain it was?

I feal sorry for his kids because they will be twice as bad as he is now when they are his age.

Sunday is 15th. Surely it's almost certain that if we get through our game will be on the Saturday. Not even the FA could get that so wrong surely?

Same McClaren that's the last English manager to actually win a league trophy anywhere?

He did well at Twente but everyone remembers his England, Wolfsburg and Forest stints more.

Like Hodgson, he excels in his own little niche and that's at Twente.

I've heard that. Why do you expect riots at Wembley when games at Anfield or Goodison are mostly untroubled?

Merseyside police are viewed as the best for policing sporting events in the country for starters.

I'm only young but it seems the rivalry is a lot more bitter than it was years ago, and the Suarez incident has made it even worse. The match at anfield was late at night meaning less time for drinking as lots came from work. Then don't forget there were ~4000 everton fans at anfield.

Now imagine 38000+ Liverpool fans and 38000+ everton fans down in London having drunk all day with virtually no separation with a final place or an FA cup trophy up for grabs, with a worse police force. Especially if there's a controversial decision or something happening going into the game there will be fucking chaos. The only thing I can see cooling it down is that it's hillsborough weekend which usually unites Licerpool and Everton under one flag.

Managers who have won domestic silverware since Moyes took over at Everton:

Arsene Wenger (2 league titles, 2 FA Cups)
Gerard Houllier (1 League Cup)
Alex Ferguson (5 league titles, 1 FA Cup, 3 League Cups)
Steve McClaren (1 League Cup)
Jose Mourinho (2 league titles, 2 League Cups, 1 FA Cup)
Rafael Benitez (1 FA Cup)
Juande Ramos (1 League Cup)
Alex McLeish (1 League Cup)
Harry Redknapp (1 FA Cup)
Carlo Ancelotti (1 league title, 1 FA Cup)
Guus Hiddink (1 FA Cup)
Roberto Mancini (1 FA Cup)
Kenny Dalglish (1 League Cup)

This is why for me, Moyes still belongs with the likes of Bruce, Allardyce et al. Sure a lot of those names have spent big but McClaren and McLeish didn't and look how low their stock's fallen lately.

He's not shit, but he's way overrated IMO.

Just to back this up, Gordon Strachan, Tony Pulis, Dave Jones and Malky Mackay have reached cup finals on similar budgets, but they don't get lauded like he does, and Avram Grant reached a final with Portsmouth in admin and up shit creek financially.

Yes, he's in that ballpark with a win ratio of 41.74%:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Moyes

Dalglish is already upto 49.18% after twelve months:-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenny_Dalglish

Perhaps some Evertonian's would put that down to the fact that Kenny has had more cash, ignoring the fact that this is due to the club being run better financially.
