How anyone feels sorry for him, I've no idea. All this 'I hope he leaves as he's too good for this treatment' is laughable.

It's simple, he's got to start doing something on the pitch whether it's in 1 mintue or 90. If he's unable to do much in the 10 minutes he's getting, he's got to show an attitude of selflessness for the good of the team.

So far, he's not doing much on the pitch and his attitude stinks. I personally don't give a flying fuck about him or any of the players personal grievances. They're paid big money to perform for the good of the team. Get on with it, stop moaning and prove your worth.
Go on mate let's hear your thoughts on Morientes...

How the fuck's he supposed to do that if he's not playing?

If he was afforded the luxury of a run of games like Benitez's love child in the number 10 shirt then maybe I'd accept your criticisms.

At last!!! Nice one Vlad. I cannot believe Cisse is getting clobbered so much and everyone loves Garcia. He is a liability. If Cisse gets a game, and does nothing sell him. Garcia is always on - I feel like I'm going nuts here.

Go on mate let's hear your thoughts on Morientes...

It's exactly the same. It's pathetic all these so-called informed supporters who say this player is great or that player is brilliant. They're not if they don't do it on the pitch whilst playing for Liverpool. I don't care what Morientes has done previously. You have to respect his pedigree but he's done fuck all for us. Until he does something then he's in the same bracket as Cisse. Start performing at a top-class level or get someone else in who can.

i'm a big Cisse fan but for the first time yesterday he really pissed me off , one ball he chased with a utd player near the end and it broke away to the corner flag and instead of chasing it and putting pressure on the utd defender he stands there and moans to the ref like a little imature boy.

Your not the only one going nuts mate. Give Cisse a good run to show wether he has got what it takes. He needs to play from the start as he struggles to adapt to the pace when he comes on. Its criminal he's like Linford Christie on speed yet he struggles to adapt to the pace !
What riles me the most about Cisse is his sheer lazyness. Yesterday for example. He tangles with Rio in the box, the ball runs out to O'shea yet cisse would rather take it up with the ref than close the man down. Oh and dont get me started on Garcia. When Danny Murphy left I thought I was adamant that I would never see anyone give the ball away as much as he did. He is Danny Murphy with goals. I agree 100% mate Garcia is a liability.

What, like being top scorer in the French league, and playing for the French national team alongside Henry? What have you done??

I'm guessing that the manager likes footballing intelligence in his players. I think Cisse might be very effective at certain levels but has shown little evidence of being a clever player. Baros was bulleted because he wasn't the most intelligent of players and I think the same fate awaits Cisse unless he starts to show some brains.

Give him the Super Cup as well - but none of us were bothered if we won that.

Not too mention coming back early from a career threatening injury to score a penalty in the CL final.

What the fuck has Pongolle done?

Garcia is erratic, it's true and his decision-making is sometimes very strange. The difference is that Garcia has proved, whilst in a Liverpool shirt, that he can deliver in important matches. The problem Garcia has is that he doesn't do it week in and week out which must put a question mark over him. He's bought himself some slack, in my opinion, because of what he did last year. He lacks consistency but has shown he can perform.

Cisse and Morientes haven't shown anything yet.  I hope they turn out to be the greatest players ever but reputations count for jack shit unless you do it on the pitch.

Garcia for me, has shown he can do it Europe and against lesser Premiership opposition.

Agreed Morientes has not shown a lot.

But, the big difference between these two players and Cisse is they have had a chance. Cisse has not and sorry coming on for 10 minutes every other game is not a chance it is an insult.

Dont get me wrong I think Cisse will go and good luck to him. But, to say he is great or shit is bollocks cos there is no way you can tell unless you have a crystal ball and can see him in a Lyon shirt as there is no way you have seen enough of him in a red shirt to be able to make a decision either way.

He deserves a chance and his pre season form and Super Cup exploits should have been enough to get him a game, but clearly Rafa does not rate him.

So, if he is pissed off fair play to him. I would be if I had shown good form in pre season and won the Super Cup to then not get a game in any position and watch Pongolle (who the fuck are you) walk into the right mid position where I might have had a chance.

I think he has had opportunities to show himself and hasn't done himself any favours with what he's done on the pitch or with his attitude.

I agree that Pongolle doesn't necessarily warrant a place ahead of him. But Pongolle has shown an absolute willingness to play on the right as he just wants to play. Cisse on the otherhand has complained about being played there.

Didn't Cisse say he was a striker not a right winger or something to that effect. That's why Pongo's ahead of him there.

Personally though, I'd like to see him get a sustained run next to Crouch and let's see what the hype was all about because so far we haven't really seen a great deal for 14m. If he's not in the team there's only Gerrard with any pace.

Well, Dick, we will have to agree to disagree about opportunities then.

On his moaning, well yeah, he moans a bit but I am sure that can be worked on and fuck me in comparison to Gerrard aka King Whinger he is a pussycat.

About playing on the right, enlighten me, as I was unaware to Cisse having moaned about being played out of position.

I like this:

                 Momo        XA

    Cisse              SG               Garcia

                       Crouch

I personally believe, even out of position, Cisse offers more on the right with regards to supplying the front man than either Garcia and certainly Pongolle.

All managers tend to favour their own signings, which is understandable but not always right.

I think Garcia and Alonso arent on top form at the moment but Rafa will no doubt continue playing them. That was the same story with Moro. Hope to god Rafa is right in playing them, maybe his faith will help them to rediscover there best form.

I feel sorry for Cisse. Although he may not have the perfect attitude he has a right to be upset with how things currently are.If he doesnt start against Brum then its not looking good.

I read on the official LFC boards that the Daily Mirror reported a manager of a top4 team was struggling to teach one of his strikers how to play the offside rule. The lad reckons it was Rafa getting pissed of with Cisse. Speculation, but possible.

I don't blame him, his treatment by Rafa was disgusting.

He should still be working his arse off when he gets on the pitch...........i agree that he has been treated badly, but I still think he should be putting the effort in when he's on the pitch.

Look at Igor Biscan last season, he was told in January that he wouldn't be getting a new contract and he could leave during the transfer window, he said he wanted to stay and play a part in the rest of the season and he gave it everything whenever he got on the pitch without ever sulking or moaning.

The same Garcia who scored 13 goals from open play last season? The same Garcia who scored so important goals vs Bayer, Juventus and Chelsea in CL? The same Garcia who (from my point of view) played very well and scored against Betis last week?

Missed the utd game but if it was anything like the Betis game then he has issues. Rafa may have stepped on his toes with the Owen saga but still does not allow Cisse to give half hearted performances when called upon. Maybe that is his game, when the opposition have the ball and he casually jogs after them, but it bugs me to see it. Still when we need goals he is the man Rafa will call on so why not do it on Minute 1 and build his conficence up a little. You cant burn bridges and that works for managers too.

Personally i feel the criticism toward any of our strikers is highly unfair. How many chances did we create yesterday - AGAIN hardly any. Crouch wont get the stick because he's holding the ball up on his own, doing all he can. So what happens when he goes five/ten games without a goal. If that happens it will all sound a little too much like the situation we had with big Emile only a few years ago when fan power was right on his back. Cisse has hardly had any playing time and any he has the service hasn't been great.

Its clear to see when watching us in the league that we've had our priorities on solidifying the defence, which will mean less creativity and willingness in forward area's. When we don't create the chances and look like we hold more importance on not conceding than scoring ourselves, i really do fail to see how anyone can let their tongues slip and start blaming the strikers for something they can do little about.

Put Cisse and Crouch up together, Then we will see goals, Just go back to Cisse's pre-season form, most people forgotten that Cisse scored 6 goals in or champions league qualifiers.
If i was Cisse id be god damn frustrated aswell.
