I was just about to see the double CD dvd, Road to Istanbul having just played a 5-a-side with my mates, but suddenly I had a sound playing in my head. I'm sure many of you have heard the song played in Christmas, I'm not quite sure what its name is but it says that one day in bethlehem Jesus was born. I had the idea that we could turn it round and maybe if there is a bit of scouse creativity out there we can have a great chant... I was of the idea that it goes something like this:
Oh one day in Istanbul,
We went to see the Reds,
And on that night,

??(In Istanbul)
We made the Italians pay.
How we love to see the Reds,
Winning home and away,
Then came a magic night,
The night ?? (the Reds prevailed)
And how we heard,
The angels sing,
BIG EARS to Penny Lane,
We knew that we could WIN,
And then when Dudek did the dance,
We knew we had won the game.

continueIf you know which song this is try help out because I am not that good and writing chants, this is just a spontaneous thing that has just cropped out of my mind.
