I imagine somewhere in Davie, Fla sits a guy called Jeff Ireland muttering to himself "see I was right about Bryant & his mom after all."

Think playoffs should be our minimum requirement I still worry we lack top quality receivers and our running game was terrible last season!

What's you take on the Tebow situation? It's a bad move IMO, heaps even more pressure onto Sanchez who has proven he doesn't deal with pressure very well.

The Tebow thing's a nice way to steal attention from the Giants and to sell more personal seat licenses.  Need to stay at the top of the headlines!

As for on field, I wasn't that opposed to it.  It gives the Jets (and hopefully a revamped run game under Sparano) another option.  Hopefully the run game gets back to the levels of the previous seasons.

Hopefully, Stephen Hill can follow in the footsteps of Demaryius Thomas and Calvin Johnson as Georgia Tech receivers who hit the ground running in the NFL after horrendous/non-existent/triple-option quarterbacks in college.  Unfortunately, the passing game is still a major concern and Tebow will no doubt be a distraction.  The New York fans and media will eat Sanchez alive after any mistake.  The first Sanchez turnover (hell, probably the first three-and-out) will have people screaming for Tebow.

What I hope for:  Sanchez realizes it's a make-or-break year and with Tebow right behind him, Mark steps up for a big season.  Tebow, a healthy Shonn Greene, and a ready-to-go Joe McKnight provide a creative running game under Sparano.  The defense steps up and Coples is a big hit.

What will probably happen:  Sanchez loses confidence after a couple of poor games and the entire season turns into a pile of crap with a locker room mess again being played out in the media.

Such is the life of Jets fans
King Kenny.

Would there be any interest in a RAWK fantasy league?

Has anyone on here handled a NFL fantasy football league before?

It would probably be best to gauge interest before making a thread in the betting/fantasy forum.

I would play.  :)

I'll play..

Only problem I could think of would be logistics of setting up a draft time though, it'd have to be set up fairly soon I'd assume.

Me too for the fantasy team please.

You don't need to be present for the draft if you can't make it - auto pick does the job ok.

Dunno, sent daddymac a pm to ask him, i'd take over the league if he can't do it, but might be a struggle at the moment, might even set up an nfl.com one for us to do?

Maybe go 8 teams, or is that not possible? Just that with fleflicker there was always one or two who seemed to lose interest and it ruins the league a bit.

Man that draft time couldn't be worse for me, is there any chance we could do it on a weekday, or earlier on the Sunday? I have to work all weekends, and the autodraft got me that shitehawk Eli Manning last year.

That's a shame as that league has been going since the 2007 season, is there no way Steve can appoint a co-commissioner if he's unable to do it again this season? I'm sure in other Fleaflicker leagues you can appoint a co-commish.

Yes, he's also not a good fantasy QB because his team doesn't win many games and he doesn't get many yards.

Hope we can get the fleaflicker going as well, as pointed out, its going into it's 6th year, and has always been fun. Maybe one of us can email fleaflicker to try and get co-commish status?

Just had some news from my son.

Dan Fouts' son, Nick Fouts has passed away from Colon Cancer.

My son went to high school with Nick. He played Quarterback in HS and made All State. He followed his dads footsteps to University of Oregon but did not play there as he was vertically challegened. He took after his Mom height wise. He was about 34 years old.

RIP Nick.

Fleaflicker league is by far the best, and can now be controlled through the iPhone Fleaflicker app.

Don't see why not. No one has pulled out, have they?

There is one player (Masterplan/DreadBreath) who hasn't logged in for a while, but other than him, everyone has been logged in in the last few days, so everyone seems to be gearing up for it. We might just have to add one new player if he's not interested anymore.
