No not trials just a three day training course.

we live near the blue Chelsea training ground and he has been their a few times.

but this summer i promised him he could go to a real club.

he is only just ten but has been picked up by the FA on their gifted and talented training program, so is doing ok.

but whatever he just wants to play football.

Alternatively, any cheap options for travel? £40 for a one way ticket by train, and the coach times are rubbish.

there are supporters clubs coaches that go from derby to every home game and one from leicester to that travels up the a50. i think the derby coach picks up at chellaston

I've got a ticket from Liverpool stations to Middlesbrough that didn't get stamped thats valid till 15th Nov WITH a railcard. Obviously you could break your journey at places like Manchester or Leeds or York or Darlington. PM if you're in need.
