great effort in the second half. shame it didnt happen in the first.

cisse now has to be due a start after that performance. gerrard played much better in his conventional defensive mid position instead of behind the strikers.

the scorline didnt justify the 2nd half.
unlucky lads, but lets have some great peformances against villa to fight for your right to start in the final

Expected to lose, expected us to be shit and for 45 mins we were just that. Why it takes us so long to get going on away days i'll never know, but that's it written off for this year at least, roll on next and hopefully Rafa will spend alot of those long summer nights fixing what's going wrong.

At least if there's one thing we can take from this season's league form, it's that we're capable of playing some good football, as that second half showed.

Unfortunately, we're also capable of some woefully inept performances too - like the first half!

Thought our passing and ability to hold some possession improved dramatically when Cisse and Harry came on. Baros I'm afraid was dreadful today and deserved to be subbed off at half-time. Riise's substitution, it's fair to say, had more to do with fatigue.

You serious, or joking? He was excellent, I thought. Runs into space, good passing as the lone striker, whipped in a great cross, etc. Arsenal have a great defense - give them credit for shutting down the goal scoring chances he had.

Traore & Hyypia not good enough.
Not singling out players but if we want to challenge the top teams these two need replacing.
Hyypia is superb in games were all you want to do is defend your own box but he is not good enough or quick enough for these sort of games.
There are plenty more who need replacing but i have heard enough shite about Traore being superb and people going on about how Hyypia doesnt need replacing cos of the chelsea game, BOLLOX
