just feel that Carra needs a break. I think he'll play on the weekend but personally I would rest him. No point picking up a slight knock against 'Boro when he will be the most important player for us on Tuesday.

I'd rest Carra if he put Traore in the middle and Warnock at left back

I can see JAR getting rested so he would have to find some cover for the left midfield birth in that instance. If he did rest him, he would play Pelle, I am sure of it.

Fucking hell if we can't beat a Boro team who are the only people that can sneer at us when we talk of injuries then we're in real trouble.

They've got 12 out by the looks of it.

Have a look at http://www.physioroom.com/news/table_current.shtml and if Southgate plays after being done by Shearer then i'll be astonished.

How many of them missed games in recent week's?

Riise didn't start at Palace.
Gerrard missed Pomey, nearly all of, an missed Juve away.
Garcia missed Palace.
Igor missed Palace.
Baros missed a fair bit recently being subbed.

Apart from Finnan an Carra, how many have played full 90 minutes for more than the last month??

Pellegrino is a good player, i think some people look to closely when he makes a mistake. He ain't no left back.

You never look at Carragher, when it was his fault that Lampard was free to shoot over the bar on the 6 yard line. Carragher was caught out. Yet if it was Pellegrino in the same situation you would have said the guy was a waste of time, even if that was his only mistake in the game. Same at Spurs when Keane scored the header, it was Carraghers fault. Don't get me wrong he is amazing, our best defeneder....but i don't like ya dissin Pellegrino. The guy has won more in his career than any of the Liverpool defence put together.

His inclusion has given Hypia a kick up the backside, to realise he has competition. Hypiaa had become stale. It was a great signing by Raffa. And i hope the guy stays behind next year.

He's also a really nice guy.

We can get 9 points.

Hence we can be a maximum of 5 points clear, with goal difference it's basically 6.

The have Arsenal, Bolton, Fulham away. And Newcy at home. I wouldn't say the'll deffo get 6 from them. Of course the have a chance, but considering the only drew with Brum, 6 points ain't a gurantee.

Chelsea won't rest the player's like yer think the will, IMO, an even if the do so what. We have enough player's and our 12th man for that game.

The other side to this "rest them" debate is, that the won't have played for 6 day's. Perhaps it would tell late on. Not saying it will but it ain't yer play more yer gonna do worse.

A couple of key rests imo, ie. Gerrard maybe Riise and/or Garcia, dont think Cisse is ready for a start yet is he? Morientes to start upfront if fit, Alonso obviously, would expect another sub appearance from Kewell (and Cisse if not fit enough for starting).

We shouldnt be making wholesale changes we do NEED to win this game, while theres a crack at 4th spot we need to go for it.

Imagine if the blueshite fucked up majorly yet we didnt put out our best team to try and get 4th so ended up losing it anyway, that would be even more agonising than it already is.

Totally agree with that. Everton could still drop enough points so we have to keep going.

Regardless of any changes made though we should be well capable of winning this game anyway.
