I think all things considered, it probably might be a touch crass and ultimately misguided to link the tributes to Anne in any way to that icy harridan, not least because it may just serve to provoke and invite the usual dark crap from undesirables. However, I just can't help suggesting it, and I'm sure many will be thinking it:

I haven't heard anything for some time now and presume the other forum lads are unable to progress or something so if we want it done it's down to us to organise etc (of which I have no clue but more than happy to help on the 'art' side if needed).

OK so I think we need to get this made before the end of the season, by all accounts the lad is feeling pretty despondent at the moment. I'm a newbie at this, so if anyone wants to advise that'd be great, but I think we need:

- a thread to vote on which version/type and how big (armand9 could you do this as you did the artwork?)
- get a quote from a banner/flag company (happy to do this - any suggestions of good companies welcome)

if enough interest:

-set up a PayPal account to collect cash (happy to do to as well, though people might be suspicious of me due to low post count!)
- order (again happy to do to)
- take to game and have someone to display it (I can take it up but I'm in the main stand so ideally need someone in the Kop?)
- any extra cash collected donated to HJC (whoever has the PayPal account)

Anything else?

Something needs to be done just so Luis knows the fans still love him, as obviously he will be feeling a bit deflated right now.
Would be nice if it could be done by the derby, atmosphere will be bouncing.

OK we'll having a bit of a trawl back through the banner/flag threads, the Smokin' Joe banner done by Scud02 was 300cm by 200cm, portrait, single side polyester with a single pole - so 'wavable'. It seems to have been made by the-flag-makers.com and cost around £274, but obviously then you need to factor in the telescopic poles - for that one it looks like they used 5m ones.

The thread and pictures of the finished flag are here http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=286965.80. I think I'd suggest having a pole either side, but the size looks good to me. Unless there are other ideas.

I don't have 50 posts (consequence of being a lurker!) so I can't start a new thread, so Armand9 can you start it? I'll DM you my email and you can send over the pics and I'll get a specific quote.

I have a PayPal account, but not sure if I should set up one specifically for this? I'll check this out with Scud02....
