i would say Warnock as Riise's been in great form, but Rafa did prefer Stevie at left mid earlier on this season. Hopefully he will do better than olympiakos away when the occasion got to him i thought.

Hopefully we will see the Gerrard which we saw against Arsenal in Nov!

Biscan plays well when Gerrard isn't in the team. Still, the line up is dictated by injury more than tactics.

Come on reds. Been giving the resident mancs stick today - hope it's not a bad omen.....

Hamann and Igor will anchor the midfield with Gerrard sitting infront of them.

Same tactics as those against Arsenal and Chelsea in the cupfinal (and a few other games).

Any chance the hindsight merchants might make a few suggestions BEFORE the match this time? We get plenty of top class managers in here after the games so its only fair they have a bash before one for a change. Personally I think with injuries the line up is about the only one we can field. I think Gerrard should play more to the right with Garcia just off Baros, as opposed to the other way around. Gives us that bit more solidity in midfield, I know its not Gerrards natural role but its needed on this occasion.
