I've had my mobile on redial since 9.15 and seemed to constantly get the BT message.  I've just tried using a landline and got through straight away with no queue at all.  Only Main stand tickets available according to the girl I spoke to.

Think some people in the TO have been blagging about what blocks are actually sold out.

Certainly seems so, unless they're each given a particular allocation of tickets to sell.

Just got through on a mobile and all they would offer me was Main Stand or area 129- which the woman said was right next to the away fans. Undoubtedly through to Barnstable.

Chose Main Stand as 129 is not very good.

In is in though.

Best of luck to everyone who is a regular attender.

Finally sorted.  2 in 202 (aint been there in a while!) row 57.

JP, how the bloody hell did you get 202?  And Kirsty?  You both jammy gets.  (See you STOOD in 202 ne way!)
At 1.20 I was told nothing left in 202.  Surely operators don't each have an allocation do they?

Good to be sorted for anything mind, and Do Well all who are still trying.

Just got mine.

Asked for 202.

She said: "None left there at the momentWe're only selling corners right now."

(Baffling comment).

So I asked for 102....

None there - after putting me on hold.

So I asked for anywhere on Kop....

None - after putting me on hold again.

So I asked for Annie Road....

She puts me on hold.  None there apparently.  They only have them in Main Stand, Centenary and Paddock - "at the moment".

I've ended up with 2 in Paddock block 1, next to Kop.

I would absolutely love to sit the ticket office management down in a room and question them about their selling "system" (before twatting them senseless with a dead halibut...).  Whatever the system is, I reckon they should be awarded a Nobel prize for achievements in defying logic.  The implication of what I was told is that, if I were to try again in ten minutes, I might get tickets where I want them - but that would, of course, mean queing for another 5 hours, so I had better just take what was on offer.

At least I got tix - but no thanks to those twats at the Ticket Office, which should, by the way, be re-named "Big Bag Of Bell Ends".  At least everyone would know who they were dealing with then.

The same call centre sell the general sale tickets too, so maybe this was what she meant.

Bollocks got through but Moan Stand only- don't believe that for half a second.

I've phoned up on day 2 of sale before for both Mancs and Everton and got Lower Anny.

In is in, and as long as the three games a seasons merchants are happy with my usual spec in the lower Anny then fair enough.

All P.T.S. have fan cards, and its about time the big 5 games (1st of season, Mancs, Arse,Everton, Last of season) all were done on a priority basis.

A priority priority ticket scheme if you will.

Pisses me off they are lying on the phone- no-ones been able to get through all day-how the hell have they shifted nearly all the tickets?

I don't believe it either. There is no way that they have shifted most of the tickets. Me and my mate tried for 4 hours today and had no luck. I will try again tomorrow... Hopefully they will sort out the website.

Unless they've put on a lot more staff or have a lot more postals than usual, there's no way they could have sold so many so quickly. For the WBA game, the lines were solid until I got through halfway through the second day, and there were 202 tickets available then.

Got through to the people in Devon after 5 hours on constant redial they said they had Anny Rd, Kop & Main Stand left. I said I wanted the Kop and I've just checked my order history and I'm in the main stand.

agree about the loyalty, it's about time time they checked fancards and initially sold tickets for the big games to people who've been to a certain percentage of games instead of those who just buy a pts card for these games

ticket office need to sort themselves out as well, it's been a fuckin shambles today and it's not the first time either

whats with being told areas are sold out and then finding others have got tickets in those areas after you've got your tickets?
i normally go in 202 but had to settle for a restricted view in 102 cos she said there was nothing else in the kop but i've seen people getting tickets in other areas of the kop since i got mine

They dont know their arse from their elbow in there- or are just making it up as they go along or too lazy to check. I was specifically told the upper anny was sold out.

How are you checking the order history?  I only seem to be able to get to the page which states the Everton tickets can't be bought online at present.

after 6 and a half hours of literally redial after redial I got through at about 3.30, I was told that the Kop and Anfield Rd were sold out and was offered upper cent or Paddock. I went for Paddock, never been in there before, but better than nothing - anyone know what it's like?

Now this REALLY pisses me off!!

It is a week BEFORE general sale. Not all General sale tickets are restriceted view, by any means. Therefore, why do we, who pay £50 a year for the 'privilige' of PTS membership have to accept restricted views and those awful seats in the corners of the top of the cemetary stand?

Outfuckingrageous!!

Thankfully, after 4 hours of trying, I suddenly got straight through and got 4 in 202!

It seems to be fluke whether you get through. I have been busy all day, but had a chance to phone around 4.30. I got through after about a dozen attempts in the space of two minutes.  :-\

So apologies to all of you still trying...wanna borrow my magic digit?  ;)

EXACTLY what I was told.
Must've been the same bird.
She was answering "No" pretty quickly - dunno what computer systems they got in there but it didn't seem like enough time to check on the blocks that I was asking about.
I cannot believe the Kop and Anny sold out in 6 hours with the phones as they were (as usual) and t'internet down.
Ah well, in's in.

to be honest, yeh i know its harsh, but right now i dont care. I have done nothing today except press redial, redial redial, others got sorted throughout the day
not me, i rang from 9.15 to 16.44 and got sorted on my final call just before they closed the lines. the whole day i didnt even hear a message saying its busy, i only got an engaged tone
i am so worked up right now
