I'm gutted, just gutted.

Southampton showed more hunger, commitment, desire and the ability to work as a team.

It is back to the drawing board for Rafa and his staff.

The problem with losing 3 on the run is the negative effect it will have on their confidence.

With Watford and a place in the Carling Cup Final at stake on Tuesday, Rafa has got a MASSIVE task ahead of him in lifting his players ready for another battle.

The BIG question is CAN they respond?

funnily, I came on at 2.30 to start one of these, my reasoning being that the game was already over, only to see steve started one at half time...

That's all thats funny today though - as that performance was absoloutely fucking shocking. EVERY player, with the possible exception of Milan FSP asd Jerzy, were totally shit.

Houllier (who that performance, tactics and team selection reminded me of a lot today) used to say often "good teams don't lose two in a row"

Today was the first time we've lost three in a row in over 6 years.

So what the fuck does that make us, because, at the minute, it's pretty fucking far from a good team.

Champions league? We ARE having a big fucking laugh.

The way we're playing at the minute, Watford are going to take the piss out of us, and further add to the embarrassment on Tuesday.

Calling them Sunday League standard would be a compliment to many of them today.  We lacked everything.

We looked tired, and at the moment I get extremely worried whenever someone stretches, challenges hard or gets challenged hard.  We look a little like we are made of glass :/

There can be no doubt WHATSOEVER that this team simply dont give a fucking shit. You could sell half of them tomorrow including Gerrard and i wouldnt bat an eyelid. If you cant be arsed to perform for the shirt FUCK off. It was sickening to watch an ageing Radknapp and average Prutton and lanky piece of shit Crouch make us look ordinary all fucking day.

And Rafa mate you've fucked up again, two slow centre halfs together and a slow arsed centre midfielder and an injured Gerrard. Fucking brilliant.

On the plus side, my wife is over 5 months pregnant and we're having a little boy in May - AND added bonus, he's due on cup final day, and I don't have to worry about the clash any more.

Plus, it's now heading towards summer, and it won't be long before you're going to work AND coming home in daylight.  You'll feel like doing more of a night-time instead of just sitting in watching telly.

So come on....big smile, big smile.

Surely this must be rock bottom for us, I really do feel for the away fans who took time to travel and watched that trash, and respect to the ones that stuck to it at the end (should be given their money back if you ask me).

Alot of supporters will be on Rafas back, yet again after the FA cup defeat. All I can say is I certainly wasn't expecting this result, from the fixture list I thought it looked a cert. Now if this game looked a cert then how on earth are we gonna fair in the other games!

If Everton beat Charlton today, that will be 10pts away from 4th place, disappointing, has to be said.

Plus points are Baros, Pongolle and Raven when came on.  All played well.  Riise / Carragher showed the heart and so is our captain in the 2nd half.

That is pretty much the only + points I can think of.

I think we might need to come to terms that we might not finish 4th this season.  Especially if the blue shite win today -- to finish below them will be a very bitter pill to swallow.

Positives: Dudek played well, Carra did his best, Flo was sharp when he came on (Igor also looked hungry in his brief cameo), Baros great running and shooting (but still not enough awareness). Raven made a great tackle and had one penalty scare when Crouch fell over like a 9ft 6" girl. Second half was much better, with several well-hit shots just wide or hitting the bar. We actually started passing the ball and not lumping it. Brave going 4-3-3 at half-time but it worked; alas it was too late.

Negatives: Hamann was shocking, Gerrard unfit, Pellegrino all over the place, Riise a waste of space, and Luis Garcia gets worse by the week. Morientes had no service of any quality. Awful first half from everyone.

Peter Crouch had one of those days when he was unplayable - he'll have another one in 2011. Soton worked harder and deserved the win.

inept - lacking in ability and desire. A couple of players think they are playing a different game where opponents give as much time as you like.

Defensively a shambles in the first half. Second to every ball.

Second half we just couldn't control the game at all.

Probably Gerrard shouldn't have played. His running was very tight - couldn't pick up pace at all.

WHAT THE FUCK AVE I JOINED ERE EH?

A bunch of fuckin banana's who can't paas a ball and have no desire whatso ever, seen better players on madrids bench, should ave fuckin stayed there..

Dudek = Let down badly by his defense but has done well when called upon

Warnock = get a grip laddy

Pellegrino = at fault for both goals and needs to adjust to the pace of the best league in the world fast

Hyypia = Rescued us on numerous occasions but now has joined our already massive injury list with a hip injury

Carragher = haven't seen him all day

Riise = Haven't seen him all day either

Hamann = Guilty of giving the ball away quite alot and quite frankly couldn't be arsed

Gerrard = If the lads not fit, don't play him

Garcia = what a fucking waste of space he is lately

Baros = Our only player who actually wanted to play today, well done lad, the rest of the team should fgollow suit whenever they feel like

Morientes = Had about 2 touches, still has to get his game together so we can't complain too much

Pongolle = had a great game when he came on, fought and won everything although needs to be a bit more careful were he passes the ball

Biscan = ??

Raven = Hardly touched the ball and nearly gave a penalty away..

Basically, what are sad pathetic performance today reds you fucking good for nothing, sad pathetic wankers...

You need a bomb up yer arse reds, you really do...

stupid c*nts... :upyours
