those looking at flying in with ryanair - it says can get train to dusseldorf

anybody any experience/knowledge of this?

return ticket for 16 euro by the look of it


whos taking this option?

All ryanair flights that I've been on never fly to the city (always just outside) but they have a ryanair bus for a few euros to get to the centre.. obviously worth their while because they know most people will be wanting to get to the big city.

Did it in venice (treviso) and rome (fiumicino) ciampino cost about 6 euros each way. (that was a couple of years ago though)  :-\

from my limited german (i.e fuck all  ::) ) it seems to be that the link on ryanair are doing return from the airport to koln for 24 euro, to dusseldorf itself its 16 euro

feel free to correct me anyone

I get it as 18 Euros to Koln and 11 to Dusseldorf - oh yeah depends whats the difference between einzelticket and tagesticket... hmm...

einzel is only/ single

tage is day... dunno, whats the difference?

The bus station is located in front of central arrivals.
By Rail: Düsseldorf Airport train station, which is situated at the east end of the airport grounds with fully automatic SkyTrain cable railway to the terminal.
By Taxi to downtown Düsseldorf, approx 16.00. Euro.
Car rental: All the major rental companies are in the Terminal (Central Arrivals)

Train is similar from Manc takes you to the Bahnoff in city, get a tram to city centre Jan Wellem Plaza or get off at Koln/Cologne were most are staying
