Sorry Rafa, but DON'T change the back four during a match where it's looking comfortable. It's a basic. Josemi even for three minutes is a liability. Don't want to make it all about him, but the goal came from our right again.

Pompey did fuck all in that match, and last minute a shit bit of keeping and we've dropped two home points.

Dont know how long anyone could go on defending the presence of Josemi right now. Am not one to usually be so overtly criticial of a Liverpool player, but right now he is dogshite. Same problem as always, no positional sense at all.

josemi, not to mention rafa's propensity of throwing him on in the final minutes of games, is turning into a complete fucking liability.

One minute to go, in space with a ball in the air out on the wing, and the fucking idiot heads it back infield to an unmarked pompey player, 10 seconds later, 1-1.

yeah lets blame Josemi and Dudek, easy stuff, fcuk off! not Dudek's fault for a start taylor was going for a cross any keeper would have been where Dudek was, and its now "josemi the scapegoat"

better 2nd half unlucky goal to lose in my opinion, yeah we should not have been sitting back and im not a fan of the 4 5 1 but I though in 2nd half anyway we were unlucky.

No, of course not. But accidents and Josemi are too closely connected at the moment. Harsh to blame him here as he was just on the pitch, but he dives in where he shouldn't, gets drawn out of position, stops to check if his man is offside instead of playing the whistle.

We were much better second half, with Gerrard and Kewell class. Carra and Sami were superb, but the ball fell kindly for Lua Lua at the end there. We deserved to win, even though we weren't great.

Not Benitez's fault for system as in the second half we had loads of efforts on goal. Didn't help that Baros didn't look sharp.

Just so fucking frustrating as we threw it away having been the only team in the game.

I don't think Benitez is "favouring" Josemi - he obviously rates him. But what we've seen lately is not good enough from the player. I was watching Josemi come on, and thought "good, play him right midfield" as you just don't unsettle a back four unless you are chasing the game. When he went to right back, I thought it was a bad move. But that said, I still trust Rafa.
