Fucking load of shite.

Tried to beat them at their own game and lost. No-one to blame but ourselves. Kirkland is utter shite at the moment, how Josemi starts ahead of Finnan is beyond me and it was definitely a mistake to play the yard dogs instead of our better players.

From reading it sounded like Martyn was their motm by a long way. Had quite a few opportunities but seemed to magically stop all of them. Got some serious making up to do in the league now  :-\

Josemi is not a Liverpool standard player. Riise is not a left back or a left midfielder. Only Kewell, Carragher and Hyypia gave a shit.

Oh and Kirkland is shit.  >:(

well fuck me what a surprise.

Everton ride their luck in the box, the ref blows up 30 seconds early after 20 minutes of time wasting, and Kirkland looks dodgy for some reason.

Fucking diving, crying, whinging, sick bluenose pricks.

I'm sick of Josemi. I'm sorry but I actually don't care anymore that it's his first season. He's utter shite. Houllier got slated for picking his favourites well I'd like someone to give me a good reason why Josemi is picked ahead of Finnan. And don't start it's because he gets stuck in because what's the use in that if you're giving away free kicks every minute.

I bet I'm not the only one that expected this after the unbelievable euphoria of Wednesday.
Fucking stupid team selection (like the starting team on Wednesday for that matter) and the less I see of second rate players like Diao and Josemi, the happier I'll be.

While I'm being negative, Kirkland is causing me no end of worrying - I'm starting to remember the last time we had the future England No.1 at the club - he did end up getting the shirt, but it was long after he left us, and was probably the least respected player to ever have it.

Thought a draw would have been fair, but as that Irish intellectual said, it's a rollercoater you know.

"Why should they be used in any other way? It wouldn'a be fair for one thing. Natural ability is far too precious tae be messed about wi'."

The gamble didnt pay off. Our yarddogs are not as good as theirs at playing that brand of shite football.

Josemi should be dropped until he can recover the form from his first few matches.

Diao was decent enough, but would've prefered Alonso.

Fucking gutted.

Kirkland was sloppy. He was very poor today.

Why is Josemi playing instead of Finnan? I can't undestand that.

Gerrard didn't play on his level today.

Kewell was ok but MoM was Hyypiä. Sami was absolutely great today! What a player!

Another MoTM performance from their goalkeeper and another Worst Player of the Match performance for ours. Sorry, really fucked off with Kirkland at the moment.. even though looking at it again Cahill was offside obstructing his view..

Kirky was shit ... again. Pathetic goalkeeping for all aspects of the game (catching, saving etc). Josemi is way behind Finnan at the moment and didn't deserve to play and showed exactly why with a completely inept perfromance capped off by giving the ball away when under no pressure which led to their goal. If they hadn't scored then it would have come form one of the numerous free kicks he was giving away. All in all a pretty pathetic display from the manager to the players.

Using Wednesday night as an excuse only takes you so far.

Well, I'm extremely confident we'll finish above Everton (who WILL start to fall away dramatically) after that but the top 3 is beyond us this season, as the majority of us will have conceded from the start.

It's undeniable that we need a new keeper - Dudek is mistake prone & Kirkland just looks like he's made out of wood in every match. So incredibly stiff, he's not much of a shot stopper unless it's more or less straight at him.

Gerrard was his usual sloppy self today - for all the running he *needs* to work on his passing and quickly. The amount of times he gives the ball away or plays a ludicrous pass to no one is shocking.

Not sure what to say  :'(

Tired or just crap - take your pick.

Neither team deserved the win - both were as poor as each other.  Crap defedning for their goal.  poor clearence by Josemi, didn't clear our lines properly & kirkland ws poorly positioned.

Shit.

Rafa got it wrong today.

What the fuck does Nunez bring to the side? Rafa trying to make out he's a good player, sorry but he's shit.

Riise is hopeless. Blind alleys, loses his head.

Stevie was trying to do three different jobs. Once Didi came off, he had to do his job too.

Kirkland should be dropped. The Dude may be dodgy commanding the area, but he's a shot stopper.

Ah well, Rafa will learn from this.

How do we put this all in perspective?
We're playing the 3rd place, not choosing our better player, and not playing well either.
The goal was 'classic', Didi off, suddenly they can score a goal, a dejavu.

Finnan, Alonso should've started.

Josemi/Diao should've been left back at Melwood until they learn to pass to the man in red.

Oh well - revenge at Anfield, oh yes.

ugh. I'm not trying to use Josemi as a scapegoat but he was horrible. Gave away the ball for the goal and gave it away multiple times other than that. Not to mention giving away stupid free kicks outside the area. Finnan must be wondering what he has to do to get a game.

Kirkland? He was prefered to Dudek because he was better at coming out to catch crosses and what not. He dropped the ball twice today.  And his shot-stopping skills are. . . I can't remember making a quality save for a very very long time. We shouldn't drop our keepers after every mistake they make. But after a few in a row?

Ah well. At least erm. At least. EVEN OUR GAME IN HAND IS NOW USELESS!!!!!

Still waiting for the first clean sheet since Charlton. Despite the fact that we've had so few shots on our stupid goal

Not surprised Alonso didn't play, but he should have done. Diao won lots of tackles, but gave it away all the time after winning it.

Kirkland - three soft goals in a week. Not able to see any of them? - well make sure you can see the fucking ball! Once or twice, fine, but three in three games?

Josemi is, at the moment, an utter liability. If he got in ahead of Finnan on freshness, fair enough. But Finnan HAS to play on Tuesday. (Josemi has suspension but it's for Newcastle). Bizarre substitutions by Rafa, especially over Mellor almost going off, but it was always going to be an uphill task. We'll spank the fuckers 5-0 at Anfield with our home form, when the wheels fall off their wagon.

Otherwise we tired quite badly in an even game but came close at the end. How Ferguson wasn't sent off I'll never know - he really is the nastiest piece of shit in the game.

Gerrard was average until late on, and how Cahill cleared Traore's effort off the line I don't know. Then, with Mellor waiting to tuck it home, Traore got a flick and the danger was gone. Martyn made one of the saves of the season from Mellor in the first half.

Sami and Carra were possibly the only two to emerge with any great credit.

Pick ourselves up, get Alonso and Baros back in, and win the four home games in our next five fixtures.

Absolutely right - I would add that riise have proved once again that he's defensively naive (by that i mean shit) - how did he get picked ahead of the on-form traore?. with such poor full-backs our wingers had no chance and let theirs into the game.
We should have started with alonso and played our football - we would have left them for dead.
and they were their usual lucky selves. fuckers.
