Have a funny feeling about this one, very confused.....

....one thing i would say is that on our bench we have two identical players in Hamann and Diao, would have prefered to see Warnock in for Diao.

Mind you that is nit picking.

COME ON YOU REDMEN!
It looks to me as if we have signed another 'average' player. I'll hold back my complete opinion until I see the lad play

I would imagine if we needto go after the game then Garcia will move to right midfield with baros coming on.  As Rafa would say Garcia gives a lot of possibilities so maybewe don't need as many attack minded players on the bench.

Not quite sure what to say. Am a bit numb at the moment :-\

Thinks its a case of 90% Utd being well up for it and 10% us being really sloppy when we do finally get the ball. We're losing every battle on the pitch right now.

Need to try and get some possession and slow it all down.

We are getting battered - however while it remains at 1-0 we can still come back.  Tactical changes at half time needed.  Awful goal to concede, absolute gift.

Let's see whether or not we can come back. This will show how much character this young  team have. I have always thought that the Mancs are usually up against us. It's never an easy match when playing them.

To be honest, we are. Could have been 3 of 4. Cant say we are playing particularly badly, you need to have the ball for that.

Hate to admit it, but that was painful to watch, at 1-0 at least we're still in with a shout, but it it will take some doing judging by the first half. Come on you Reds, get out there , give it your all and turn it around.

i said earlier to my dads mate the only way we will lose is if we dont turn up, and we havent.

Far be it from me to say but we've give utd far too much respect, we've backed off, we havent challenged, we've looked scared on the ball, the game is passing everyone by.

AND FOR FUCKS SAKE LADS CHECK YOUR FUCKIN STUDS BEFORE THE GAME!!!

we've slipped lord knows how many times while they havent once as i recall.

Anyway its a learning process and hopeful;ly rafa will give them a bollocking.

I'd put Baros on up front with Cisse

We have been shite. Not trying to be negative as there's a lot of things that had to be fixed over the summer but we've been outclassed from minute 3 till 45. No ball retention whatsoever and too many chipped balls that a pub team back four could mop up with their eyes closed. Cisse, Garcia and Kewell have been poor, too often looking to make things too complicated rather than keeping it simple. Finnan is anonymous. Ronaldo is a threat every time and we look nervous everytime a ball is played into the area. Goal we conceeded was amateur. Overall, very poor indeed except Josemi who has been good except the goal which the whole team should be blamed for.

Only 1-0 of course and if we can nick a sloppy goal at the other end and nick a draw it'd be a semi success but even if we go onto lose the game 2 or 3-0 we need to show improvement and players of the old regime (Finnan, Kewell, Carra, Sami, Riise) need to show some self pride and realise the magnitude of the game, which they're not. Those 5 or 6 players aren't showing enough hunger and desire and we're being played off the park.
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

This isn't looking good at all. Our passing is dreadful and we look disorganized and unconvincing. We're lucky to be only a goal down because it's practically men against boys right now. That's the way I rate the first half.

We are lucky to go in just 1-0 down after that 1st half and Stevie Gerrard going off injured is a bad blow but I'm hopeful we can get something in the 2nd half.

C'mon redmen!
