For 500k a week? If they end up winning the league or the EC, I'll eat my keyboard gladly, but scoring goals wasn't an issue for them. Ronaldo should be scoring against the likes of Newcastle and Young Boys, hardly a surprise.

But ultimately are they going to challenge and win the biggest trophies? Based on their midfield alone, and their manager, I'd say no, Ronaldo or not.

Andre Wisdom scored past them.

He’ll score plenty. No need worrying when he does and hopefully scoring in games like this will have no bearing on whether they can win big trophies or not.

A challenge that many wouldn’t feel is a red, but they were very clear at the Euros that this kind of challenge was now a red card. So, fair enough.

And people are still arguing the one on Elliot wasn’t a red.

Crystal Palace v Brighton in 1989. Not sure which division it was, but there were 5 penalties awarded. All in the space of 27 minutes. Not in one half though.
